I loved Storm. I loved the Sentinel head. I loved Wolvie. But Colossus's effect was awful.

"awful", "crap"...Far from it, IMO...I know what bad CG looks like..

I didn't get a chance to study it because I didn't tape it, but I think it's that Colossus' skin in X3 isn't exactly how it looked in X2, but this is also our first time seeing it up close, so, I'm not sure if any of us were expecting it to look a certain way so when we see it, it kinda throws us off...

For those who missed, it was mostly all about Wolverine. And Storm, Colossus, and the Sentinel were in there for a decent time.

I could see kitty, Rogue, and Iceman running, and standing at the end.


Great clip. I hope it gets online so I can rewatch.

You don't actually see the body just a big smoke cloud. You hear cutting sounds etc, then the head falls, and out from behind it steps Wolverine, looking kickass.

colossus when he metaled up didnt have a noise, and when it appeared it didnt appear in plates yet when it went away it did.......it kinda bothered me

the fast ball special looke kind of odd too

and i hate to say it but the whole thing seemed rather corny.....dont get me wrong it was cool but it just didnt feel like the other two movies

No it's just unfininished CGI. It's the shading that;s off on it. And the lack of black "hair" but it's not finalized so there is no hair of course.

I did enjoy the clip, I'm just very surprised they used a clip like this. It makes it look very Fantastic Four-ish. When they could have showed a more dramatic lab scene or something to that effect.

Because the effects were obviously not finished yet. Anyone can tell that. Of course this clip could have effects that were still a little old. They're just not finished in the CLIP.

And they usually have temp music. It's just an average thing.

Ok, the temp music I can believe...I'm just having a little bit of trouble trying to believe how "obvious" the effects can be...I mean, the movie comes out in less than a month...But that's why I added, we're not sure when this clip was edited...

Did Kinberg say that they were still working on effects and the score or were they done?

thats alright, comics have different artists and writers constantly. just as long as its still awesome and still X-Men
