Talk Show Appearences

can someone explain the collosus issue in detail???

It looked like he slowly metalled up much like Mystique shape-shifts. Even his hair. Which looks really weird. Almost like a silver Ken doll. lol. But I'm not complaining. The clip was awesome. Halle was great. I was pleasantly surprised.

I wonder when someone will get a downloaded version of the clip

At first i thought the same, but then after laughing my ass of to him saying that, i thought, wolverine is a smart ass, and that line adds to their sexual tension
Ummm..I was under the belief that their "sexual tension" in this film has been fan speculation the entire time...Wasn't this debunked months ago?..

I need more.
I want more X-Men: The Last Stand.

i definatly think the colossus effect isnt done. it looks nothing like the prostetics daniel wears for the metal up part. so yeah i bet it will be fixed.

I thought Colossus' effects looked fine. In fact I was rather impressed by them.

I did enjoy the clip, I'm just very surprised they used a clip like this. It makes it look very Fantastic Four-ish. When they could have showed a more dramatic lab scene or something to that effect.

yea when Jackman said "we are seeing a clip of the X-men under seige" im like HEL YES A FINAL BATTLE CLIP!!!!

but then i see the tint....im like dang, they probably would have bennefitted froma more dramatic clip, because earlier it was stated to the audience that ratner was the director......half the audience that doesnt know will go look him up and see he director rush hour and other comedies, then REALIZE thats why x-men is turning into a comedy?

so who knows if this really benefitted, but i think we'll be okay!

Ok, the temp music I can believe...I'm just having a little bit of trouble trying to believe how "obvious" the effects can be...I mean, the movie comes out in less than a month...But that's why I added, we're not sure when this clip was edited...

Did Kinberg say that they were still working on effects and the score or were they done?

They work on the effects until they have to get the final print together, and they still have time left on that. But the promo clips are usually put together before that which explains the unfinished effects.

well i suspected the Danger Room was always going to be the corniest part of the movie, but that was pretty damn cool.....
People throw around this "corny" thing so much, you'd think it was a bad thing.. :p

They had humor in the first two? It wasn't cheesy or anything. What's the deal?
Right that's something I've noticied since I've been here. People complain about stuff, that is obviously is either out of context, not finalized or isn't relevant...

very loud and undramatic, lol i cant remember presicely but it wasnt that "epic" at all....but after logan said "panties" my ears were off the music, lol

omg that was so awesome!

colossus when he metaled up didnt have a noise, and when it appeared it didnt appear in plates yet when it went away it did.......it kinda bothered me

the fast ball special looke kind of odd too

and i hate to say it but the whole thing seemed rather corny.....dont get me wrong it was cool but it just didnt feel like the other two movies

Agreed . . . it did have a different feel to it. It was much more lighthearted than the other two movies, which is somewhat odd considering this is being touted as the darkest of the three.

Then again, this was only a clip, so who's to say when we see it as a whole?

I'm sorry, but Halle was just terrible. She was whiney and annoying the whole time. If that's who Storm is, then I guess that's why I'm not a fan of her in the comics.

One thing that annoyed me is the fact that she sounds even more like Halle Bery than from the last two films.

Other than her awefullness, I enjoyed the clip. Colossus looked pretty damn good to me. A lot better than that first bust we got.

By Kinberg.

And I don't get all these corny comments. Humor doesn't=cheesy. Those words are thrown around too much. And would showing a dramatic clip made anyone but the comic fans excited? No.

Alright - I think there is more to this scene that will be done. Its not 100%. Anyway, if there is anything remotely "campy" in this films - it'll probably be this awesome scene. why did they chose this scene and not a more dramatic one? Because this will excite fans of the movie/comics and adventure/action fans alike... We know this will be a very serious/emotional movie. But its gotta have some relaxed fun, and thats what this was. To me, it was an amazing scene for what it was - a fun, stress free Danger room mission.
