No it's just unfininished CGI. It's the shading that;s off on it. And the lack of black "hair" but it's not finalized so there is no hair of course.

See, that's the thing I'm trying to say...They might not be doing anything with his hair. They're probably using some of the other comic references where his hair was shiny and metal, unlike the effects in X2. I think that's the main thing that's been throwing everyone off on the look. It isn't what they were expecting. But, it's only a little presumptuous to assume that the CGI is unfinished...

That's the best PUNK'd I've ever seen.

Anyone else put off by the twirling "fastball special"? I know it sounds like a fanboy nitpick but that was more of a "shotput special". Wolvie flying through the air looked very wirey as well. Maybe I was expecting too much. Still, fun stuff.

Alright - I think there is more to this scene that will be done. Its not 100%. Anyway, if there is anything remotely "campy" in this films - it'll probably be this awesome scene. why did they chose this scene and not a more dramatic one? Because this will excite fans of the movie/comics and adventure/action fans alike... We know this will be a very serious/emotional movie. But its gotta have some relaxed fun, and thats what this was. To me, it was an amazing scene for what it was - a fun, stress free Danger room mission.

Seriously. This will be the light-hearted relief in the movie. THIS stuff attracts audiences. It was probably written for appeal.

HORRIBLE clip...

1). Wolverine gets angry his last cigar broke... what? How cliche for low class movies... So trite and lame.

2). Dialog was eh... Didn't like Wolverines "panties in a bunch" line... It didn't sound like Singer Wolverine....

Honestly, the clip sounded and acted no better then F4 or Hulk.

I've thought that even though simon and zak had had some bad movies, they were going to come through... But now? Honestly, it was junk... That wasn't impressive.

They work on the effects until they have to get the final print together, and they still have time left on that. But the promo clips are usually put together before that which explains the unfinished effects.

Yeah, you could be true on a level...I mean, for X2, most of the effects and music that were ever shown in TV clips, commercials, and BHS features were somewhat unfinished, but in some cases, they were practically unchanged for the final film...That's why I'm not going to assume with 100% confidence...

The prosthetic suit has the hair. so yes he has the hair. Of course the CGI is unfinished. That's what happens in all big special effects movies these days. You don't see final CGI until the movie comes out. Unless they change more on the DVD release but I've never seen that done. It's not presumptous..it's common knowledge and sense.

i don't know, the script in that scene doesn't go with the tone of the other two films. but i hope that kind of dialogue stays in the danger room scene- i can deal with it if it's only in danger room.

but still super excited about the movie!!! maybe they showed that clip to get a reaction from fans. then they will go to forums like this one and see if they have to make some changes. hehe... wishful thinking?

I don't know how anyone can get awful from the clip unless they are talking of the Colossus effect.

And Halle? Whiny? Annoying? No. JP, you watched the wrong clip. She was commanding and trying to get Wolverine's ass in line.

I'm sorry, but Halle was just terrible. She was whiney and annoying the whole time. If that's who Storm is, then I guess that's why I'm not a fan of her in the comics.

One thing that annoyed me is the fact that she sounds even more like Halle Bery than from the last two films.

Other than her awefullness, I enjoyed the clip..

You got all of that from 2 lines?
