The Dark Knight TDK Casting Sides

I'm really curious as to who this 'Brian' is. It could very well be just some random kid idolizing Bats....or are we being led to a hint at Robin without fully divulging into the character?

No Robin! Probably just some random kid. Maybe that kid Rachel saves in the first movie.

the vigilante i am guessing is dent in a ski mask or something, trying to help batman.

the dialogue with the guy saying i just remember his smile is so ****ing cool.

Firstly, all hail G-mon for his generosity and Miranda for her sharp wits!

2nd, this all sounds interesting, and much of it is different to anything we had been told to expect. Some of this seems like a distant echo of The Sons of Batman, and the whole theme comes as a welcome suprise to me. The Courtroom scene is a total joygasm.

Keep it up! I will send a bottle of Champagne to the first (UK) address that can email me the whole script.

Ah, now that sounds interesting. Especially more poignant if they make Two-Face's problem with Bats is partly because he didn't confide in him to help when it was offered.

I think that the Avenger= Batman and the Vigilante is a copycat trying to do good in the city. Who could it be? A Huntress like character?

Well it's not letting me download them anymore. Keeps saying "A duplicate transaction has been submitted." Whatever the hell that means. Either way, I'm done for now. I've learned all I wanted to know until the script review.

VIGILANTE is NOT Dent or anyone else cast already. The fact there's a casting side for the character out there means it's a new character, and the fact that the side costs $1 to get (instead of $2 or more) means its a 30 second part only.

I've got the rest of the sides and I'll post ASAP.

Sher, you are an angel! :woot:

Terrorized Cop - I don't know. I just remember his...

Randolph - His what?

Terrorized Cop - His smile.

So...if the cop only remembers the smile, than this is either some kind of pre-Joker/Jack Napier type character, or our Joker does not look like a clown?

Sorry I was on the phone.

Starting up a paypal account to pay me isn't necessary at all. These babies are only 1 -2 bucks, so I'm getting it for less than a month's worth of porn.

This one is interesting

BRIAN, wearing a makeshift AVENGER costume - face bruised and bloody - is tied to a chair. In some kind of bright, fluorescent lit room.

VOICE (O.S.)
Tell them your name.

BRIAN
(weak)
Brian Douglas.

Voice (O.S.)
Are you the real Avenger?

BRIAN
No

Voice (O.S.)
Why do you want to be like him?

BRIAN
He's a symbol...that we don't have to be afraid of scum like you...

Voice (O.S.)
But you do, Brian. You really do. You think he's helped this city?

BRIAN nods uncertainly...

VOICE (cont'd)
Look at me.
(Brian looks down)
LOOK AT ME!

Brian looks up horrified

hmmm this could be tailor made to Robin if Nolan wanted to include him in the saga.

could be a Batman fan (no not the comic book kind ;)) and he gets way over his head.

i recall one of the dialogue you posted in the other page, about the conversation between "Avenger" and "Vigilante". could this Brian guy be Vigilante? if so i take back the other conversation being between Gordon and Batman. obviously more info clears up the vagueness so keep posting away G-man :)

lol Retroman, great minds think alike.
doing it since the first post on the bank robbery dude ;)
Good, we're on the same line.:woot:

It could be the former, or Joker was wearing his wide-brimmed hat that covered the top of his face, only revealing his grin.

Oh yeah, I do have one more. I think it explains the Asian Accountant.

EXT. PENINSULA HOTEL, CHINA - DAY
A HELICOPTER touches down on one of the hotel's twin helipads. A L.F.I. Vice President approaches, head ducked. Faulkner (Wayne?) gets out - they shake hands, shouting over the engine-

LFI VP
Welcome to Hong Kong Mr Faulkner, how was the trip?

FAULKNER
Thank you, fine.

LFI VP
Mr. Lau regrets he is unable to meet you in person. But with his current legal difficulties...!

FAULKNER
I understand!

The LFI VP ushers Faulkner towards security

LFI VP
I'm afraid for security reasons I have to ask for your mobile phone.

Faulkner hands his phone to a security guard, who puts the phone in a box underneath his station

LFI VP (cont'd)
Follow me please...

I wonder why Bruce is going to Hong Kong????

Eh, I wouldn't read into it like that.

It sounds like a dramatic moment meant to emphasize Joker's biggest trademark - his sinister smile.

It wouldn't have been as dramatic if the cop went on. "His smile..and his green hair..and his white skin..and his red lips.." Liken it to Aunt May and the Goblin, "those horrible yellow eyes!"

If it's that, then I will kiss you on the mouth.

you know what would be awesome? if there is a scene in the movie that has absolutely nothing to do with the plot involving some guy named Faulkner.
