I wouldn't mind the bats again, it was coolness.
Hey fellow Bat-fans,
I'm new to this side of the forums... but I know Norman and Sushi, etc.
ANYWAYS...
I was kinda curious.. after listening to the opening track of the "Begins" score, and thinking of the opening scene, with the bats quickly forming the Bat-logo and such.
Would you want this same opening, or a different one altogether for "The Dark Knight"?
I'd personally prefer that they keep the bats forming the logo, and possibly that same opening track you hear with the sweeping sounds. It just seems necessary. Kinda like the Spider-Man openings with that beam that was red, then blue, etc., and still kept the same opening theme.
Thoughts?
I hope it stays the same as Begins. This could be what the 'gunbarrel sequence is to the Bond flicks'. It could become trademark for a Batman film.
I'm almost 72% sure the movie won't start with "The Dark Knight" visible anywhere.
I'm just not sure how Nolan will incorporate it at the end like he did with 'Batman Begins'. TDK will have to have a killer ending scene that would be "SCREAMING" for it to have the title at the end.
I don't think it'll end with Harvey in the hospital... I thought he was supposed to be fine for this movie, and at the beginning of the third movie, the trial would begin, therefore he becomes Two-Face in the third movie.![]()
Well, Aaron Eckhart has said some things that would seem to suggest otherwise.
For that matter, the casting sides we've seen have an elected official in the hospital, recovering, with the Mayor asserting that he'll be back on the job in no time (paraphrasing).
This would definitely seem to suggest Harvey in the hospital...
Which would totally make my day. I don't think we need Two-Face unleashed until Part 3, as I'd like to get to know Harvey first. But having it end with him in the hospital? BRILLIANT.
If it ends like 'The Empire Strikes Back', with a downbeat ending, that would be dark. Joker on the loose, Harvey in hospital (or Two-Face unleashed), and Batman being hunted by the police - that kind of ending would have a tremendous cliffhanger, with great anticipation for part three ('Batman on a Plane'), and truly deserve the title 'The DARK Knight'.
