They may not have been able to go to mars to film. The weather there this time of year? A *****
yeah funnyman, they don't call it the red planet for nothing???

I'm just saying that we have been teased for years with a transformers movie and possibly the two best peope are working on it now. Steven being the way he is does not let a whole lot of the story slip in to the trailers, just enough to get your mouth wet then he drowns ya.

that made it look like a sci fi horror film not an action movie. That sucked.I think the film will be good though but thats one of the worst teasers ive ever seen.

what bugs me most about this trailer is the poor production. that's not canned footage of mars, it's the damn dessert. when's the last time they had blue skies and clouds on mars?

weaksauce.

Actually, the Martian sky is blue during certain times of the day.

and another thing... this teaser seems to implicate that all the transformers are bad (as they don't differenciate between the good and bad transformers) and that they come from mars... now we may know the difference, but your average movie goer won't.

poorly constructed teaser.

Interesting trailer ... I hope that the transforming letters into numbers is not a hint at what it will sound like when they transform ... I dont like it.

The trailer was pretty decent though ... looking forward to it in hi-res

Transformers are popular. The average movie-goer has probably had some exposure to them before and know there are the good transformers and the bad. Just ask someone to name 2 transformers, who do you think they'll name? Optimus and Megatron.

The trailer was decent. Nothing great. It's a teaser so there's nothing exception about it.

This thing is taking forever to load and i've got a high speed connenction too. :(

I think the website got caught with it's pants down. My only explaination is that they had no idea there would be so many people wanting to see it. I however see it as a forgone conclusion.

At the very least, we could have seen something transforming. This was just a trailer for a generic robot on Mars. Not necessarily a Transformer.

I guess it was alright for a teaser. Would've loved to have seen more though.

Surely they must have known people would be interested in seeing the first Transformers teaser.

Okay it finally loaded and i must say i'm not impressed. I hardly felt any tension, the music was nothing special and the footage...well...couldn't they have shown a little more?I know they've only shot for 1 and half to 2 months but still. The only thing that will turn heads in theatres is the name 'Transformers'.

I think they were underestimating THEMSELVES.

Whether the movie is any good or not it is gonna open HUGE and I really can't see why so many people on the hype believe it won't. It's the frikken' Transformers for god's sake! For many children of the 80's this is a big a deal as the first Spider-man or X-men films were.

I would have much rather waited a few more months and seen a better trailor.
I think they might have got the heads up on the Spidey3 trailor coming out earlier than expected and threw something together.

Yeah the comparison between both teasers isn't to the advantage of Transformers, to say the least.
Very poor teaser, gives me low expectations for the film but eh, it's a Michael "Über Boll" Bay movie, isn't it ? ;)
