Teleprompter vs Bush-isms?

Damn, he had 3? Holy crap....lol

I think we should all take a moment to remember 'Teleprompter #2 of the United States of America'...

...

:funny:

Are people still going on about the stupid teleprompters? :whatever:

Get over it and move on already.:sleepy:

Yes, it's very sad that our country has lost one of its greatest and most articulate public speakers. :(

No kidding, man. It's great we finally have a President that speaks cleanly and with confidence, reads uninterrupted, and doesn't sound like a Gomer.

But *gasp* he reads his well-prepared speeches off a teleprompter!?! Like everyone else? What a slouch... :whatever:

Teleprompter #2 was a good prompter screen. He did his job day in and day out without fuss and without system bugs. He delivered his message on time, every time.

You will be missed.

You're in a thread that only talks about the teleprompter and Bush'isms, what do you expect? It's not like you wandered into a random thread and people were bringing up the teleprompters

The horror......too graphic for words, I just don't know what to say........

Where's my teleprompter.....:o

This raises concerns for me as an American citizen. I know that we need to maintain a working President in the event of a teleprompter crash, so it's good to know that there were two other teleprompters to take the place of the deceased one.

But, what if something had happened to those teleprompters? If there had been a larger accident and the other two were lost, would we be reduced to hearing a series of "uhhh"s and "uhmm"s interrupting a Presidential speech, address, or an answer to an "unscripted" question from a town hall meeting ? We need to establish by whatever means a security measure ensuring a line of succession for teleprompters.

The means of resolving this issue is clear: Obama should appoint a Teleprompter Czar.

Just as long as its not Biden or Pelosi's teleprompter......their teleprompters are stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid.

They are stupid. Will he be using them at his Thanksgiving dinner speech to his family?:oldrazz:

Frankly, I don't care about about him using a teleprompter most of the time.
But to me, there is something to be said for a state official, like a President, who gets along and does not use a teleprompter all the time.

That is all for me...The teleprompter is just a grasp by the people who don't care about Obama.

To me, I didn't mind Bushisms....to me, it didn't bother me, it made him seem more human to me...but then that is me

That teleprompter had one day left until retirement. :csad:

It's family will get $1m a year from its pension plan...But it will only get $25,000/ year after Obama's tax plan.

Just because Pelosi and Biden's teleprompteters were 'cut from a different cloth' doesn't make them stupid. It makes them different. :oldrazz:

You just said "me" five times in a single sentence. My mind has been blown, and possibly injured.

Wanna talk about me, wanna talk about I, wanna talk about number one oh my me my:( I am ashamed that I know that:(

This is true.....I shouldn't judge a teleprompter by its reader....I know. :o
