Action-Adventure TENET

That set piece looks so cool. I love that Nolan shoots at real locations with tons of extras.

Same.

Interview with Sarah Goldberg - who now stars in ‘Barry’ and she said this about being an extra in TDKR:

“I couldn’t resist asking Goldberg about her IMDB credit on Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. “So yes, I auditioned for Analyst #1, and I had one line, which ended up in voiceover.” While she was living in England, American-accented performers were in demand for American movies shooting overseas. “I have one shot where I see something awful, and I have a reaction shot.”

She was also very impressed by Nolan’s treatment of the day players. “He was such a class act. I mean he came in. He knew all of our names. Like, I had nothing to do with this movie. And then he let us improvise, all day. I mean we shot all day this kind of CIA scene behind the scenes. And he gave so much room for collaboration and treated us all with so much respect even though he knew this was probably only going to be one second in the movie.”

I seriously doubt that. It may well be around Interstellar running time for theatrical cut. 3hrs is long already.
Thats what i thought, tbh. A 4 hr runtime is something I didn't see possible, but 3 hrs is definitely more in the ballpark of what I am expecting

My favorite is the "Things are worse than EVER!" guy and that dude from the stadium scene in TDKR.

I want to be that guy that falls down before a punch lands

I'm a bit surprised that these negotiations weren't handled prior to the start of production.

“Tenet filming in Tallinn is planning to run a tank through a tram ride”

SqtYmo7.jpg

“Christopher Nolan, the director of his spy film "Tenet" in Tallinn, is said to have a plan to ride a tank through the tram for shooting, writes Õhtuleht.

Allfilm is currently looking for background actresses by June 27, but also for 29.06 - 30.06, and is likely to be filmed on one of these dates, with a tank running through the tram. It may be one of the greatest scenes of the film that is being picked up in Tallinn.

It is not known what actor is on the tank, nor is it clear whether it will be filmed next week on Pärnu highway or in July on Laagna.

Considering that Nolan is a big fan of Bond movies, it all resembles the 1995 Bond film "Agent 007: Golden Eye" ("GoldenEye"), where Pierce Brosnan drove around with a tank in St. Petersburg. It was filmed for six weeks in a studio in both St. Petersburg and England.”

Christopher Nolanil on plaanis Tallinnas tankiga läbi trammi sõita

Wally: Chris, that extra is looking at the camera.
Nolan: It won't make a difference.
Wally: But we can reshoot it, we have time and money.
Nolan: Maybe, you should go make your own damn bloody movie!
Wally: I will!
Nolan: Good.
Wally: John Blake Robin?! Pick up a goddamn comicbook you snobbish ass!

My other prediction is that Pattinson will play the closest thing that Nolan gets to Bond. He'll play a Bond type but more antagonistic.

Estonia representative- you can’t do that here!

“Typical Nolan movie quirk”

Nolan- Actually I can. I just bought the country and I’m setting new rules for the highways
