You drive a very hard bargain, good sir. Indeed, I think Durance would keep her attractiveness in the wee-hours-of-the-morn with no makeup alot better than Hatcher.

Also, since I'm 19 I'd feel alot less odd with a woman in her latter 20's than one in their 40's. Not that I descriminate against more mature women, because I still think Hatcher is very attractive. I just would feel weird, you know, going out with her.

If she was really born in 64, that'd make her TV intro at 13. Not likely since she played a mermaid on The Love Boat, unless they had teen mermaids on that show.

It's possible that she was 13 on the Love Boat, but I don't remember her on that show. It's not like she was nude or anything.

Hopefully somebody can show a picture of her on that show, then we can judge for ourselves.

But still... I'm the same age and she looks more like my sis than me (age line wise, I mean - I don't look a thing like her) and my sis is 11 years older than me.

That's exactly the comment I was going to make to the "one clue-- she's 40" remark...jees, I'm not much younger than that and I don't look like that. And anyway, I think most of you guys are being a bit harsh. If I was trying to compete in hollywood these days, I'd lie about my age too--especially being a woman. There really is a double standard there, I think. Men are allowed to age and are still generally seen to be sexy with wrinkles. Harrison Ford is 63 and still seen as relatively bankable....sigh.

I think Teri Hatcher still looks really good on Desperate Housewives, and especially so if she's really 46.

It's just a pet peeve of mine when people lie about their ages... It annoys the hell out of me actually.

It's actually the fact that that they feel the need to lie, I mean, Julia Roberts lied about being 36... She was saying she was 33... Stupid.

Boob jobs, botox, facelifts, breast lifts? When does it stop? Why does Hollywood want people to look like barbie dolls instead of real live breathing women that have babies and age?

This thread is actually a symptom of that, actually... I'm no feminist but it irks me that they're pressured to do it, but it also annoys me when certain actresses cave to that pressure. Many actresses don't lie about their ages and they still get work. Susan Sarrandon, Annette Bening,and Anette O'Toole among others.

The ones who lie and do ridiculous cosmetic procedures all adds to a hostile environment for everyone.
