Terminator: Dark Fate? That's gotta' be a working title, surely? It sounds terrible otherwise, especially for a relaunch.

It's not terrible. Genisys is terrible.

I believe the working title was Terminator: Phoenix for a while.

The only thing I've read so far that I'm pretty iffy on is Arnold also playing the human his Terminator is modelled on. That idea's been thrown around for the last few movies, and I've never liked it.

Certainly no 'Judgement Day' but then again what is? At least there's no "clever" spelling errors.

I'm just really glad they're not following that annoying trend and calling it "The Terminator".

By "thrown around" I mean it's either been a fan theory or actual rumour for the last few movies. People speculated about it for T:G, and the sequel to T:S was rumoured to have a human scientist played by Robert Patrick etc.

they are holding back on the marketing. If you are the studio and Cameron is the directors personal friend and got him the job.....you start the marketing as fast as you can. I wouldnt be suprised if they have some big reshoots with this movie.

Doesn't it come out in November now? It's not unusual for a movie like this not to start marketing until like six months out or so.

He looks potentially "battle damaged" in that pic with Hamilton, but you can't really see any metal under there.

I have no idea what is going on in this film tbh. Normally I'd be worried but this pool has been peed in enough that it doesn't really matter.

Apparently he's playing a different chassis (not T-800) and he will be "bad".

Clearly you’ve never seen Jingle All the Way. Sinbad was wronged in that movie!

All for Arnie getting something different to do. Even in Genisys I found him quite charming, he can play the protector in his sleep at this point, but it's been done to death.

This article (that I forgot) seems to confirm he will be playing both a Terminator and the human prototype.

Damn fine question to ask. I liked Beltrami's T3 theme quite a bit but none of the non-Cameron sequels have stood out the way Brad Fiedel's score did. Maybe Cameron can pluck him out of retirement.
