With Avatar my interest is only piqued because I know how far CG has come since 2009 and they looked pretty damn good back then. On another note that animatronic one on the ride is eerie as hell.

It was funny because they tried to make him look older than he was? I can't remember, he looked weird in both times.

Every film in the series has great chase scenes but that one is probably my 2nd favorite after the semi truck and motorcycles in T2

That was pretty good.
But, I would say the only other action standout in the film was the cemetery chase.

Yeah, it’s been so long since the first one that I don’t think anyone is really that into it anymore. I know we all tend to get nostalgic for stuff after time passes but I don’t really see that happening with Avatar. I could be wrong though.

Going to the official Avatar movie Facebook-page it seems there's quite a few people who "can't wait" for the sequels. And the movie has almost 45 million followers on Facebook. I think Avatar definitely has a lot of fans. They maybe just aren't like Star Wars, Harry Potter or comic book-fans and don't hang around sites like this very much.

It's being made by the same people who did that awful Rambo game a couple of years ago, so it's probably best to wait for some reviews before you buy the game... still, the trailer looks pretty good so who knows...

FPS is to show that YOU are the player.

Yeah I know. :o

Haha yeah I know. It’s just a weird thing for me. Like, even in a third person game, when the camera angle gets messed up and I can’t see the character for a few seconds, it drives me nuts.

I play whatever looks good. FPS, third person, top down, side scrolling, etc.

This indeed should've been the movie.

For some reason the movies are afraid of showing judgement day and the post-apocalyptic war against the machines. Salvation is the closest we got to seeing that and it was awesome.

After Salvation nobody wants to attempt it because the female hero vs. a lone Terminator shtick is what most people are familar with.

Sure, but it's been done 3/5 times in the franchise already.

I want to love that game but it has terrible written all over it. Hope to be proven wrong.

Salvation was poor because they didn’t portray the future war we wanted to see (ie T2 opening). Instead we got.. boring desert.
