I remember I read somewhere he plays the human on which the T-800 in the previous films was designed, but in the recent trailer (and MK11) he clearly plays a Terminator.

He's a terminator. If you pause the international trailer you'll see he doesn't have left arm

I dunno, I'm glad that Cameron is involved in this one and I'm certainly glad to see Linda Hamilton back - but I just can't seem to get excited about it.

The trailer looks ok and maybe I'm jaded by the expectations of previous Terminator films which never delivered, but it looks like yet another variation of the same old story - humanity's future saviour pursued by Terminator. Sure, they've changed genders round a bit and glossed it up a bit by having a human with enhancements, but it's essentially the same book with a new glossy cover.

Surely about time some creative writer took a tackle on a screenplay set in the future post-apocalypse with a whole new story? Salvation tried and failed perhaps, but it's worth another go.

And I'm someone who overall likes T3 and Salvation . I'm not really excited for this film but I am interested

Agreed. Cameron's films were obviously gold, but the following sequels were sunk by mediocre creatives. A great writer and director could make a great Terminator movie. I hope Miller can prove he's worth his salt.

Am I the only one who finds dialogue bad ?

I'm with you I was excited about this film when I heard about Hamilton involvement but
the trailers have been meh at best and if the spoilers are true about the fate of John and this new girl is new "john connor" then yeah I'm good

Hoping Miller can pull it off Luna does nothing for me aswell as the new terminator

I haven't had much issue with any of the dialogue from the trailers. Nothing great but just not seeing what's so bad about it except "metal motherf*..."

They've been pumping the hell out of the trailer. I've seen it like in 4/5 of the movies I see

Not surprised. It’s the first R rated entry in awhile so they’re probably doing everything they can to get butts in seats.

Don't think it'll work. Maybe a decent opening weekend but am fully expecting it do as bad as Salvation or Genisys by the end
