Action-Adventure Terminator: Dark Fate

Has Cameron confirmed this being a planned trilogy? I can see him going that route

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for a sequel to this game!

Yeah, I get that. Then again, retrospectively, I came to appreciate T3 as an OK sequel so I can't be disappointed again :)
Bring it on Dark Fate.

Not a fan of the squiddy look at what I assume are more Rev9s in the future.

it makes no sense trying to explain an aged terminator when Cameron in 2015 said that he is aging because they wanted Arnold back. thats the only reason.

They’ve never been able to take the Terminator franchise past Arnold. That’s why the quality has continued to descend, and this is why this movie will probably suck too.

When you’re constantly trying to write your story around justifying the presence of one actor, you’re onto a loser.

If there isn’t a convincing, compelling, interesting Terminator story that doesn’t include Arnold, then at this stage they shouldn’t be making more movies.

But arguably, he’s the reason why the films were successful in the first place, so without him the films don’t get made anyway.

Terminator series is the perfect example of a franchise that only exists to make money, not to tell stories.

Not only past Arnold, even with Arnold they couldn't do anything worthy. It's more like they couldn't get the franchise anywhere past Cameron. This is why this one has slightly bigger chance of not sucking like the previous three.

Ehh, Sarah Connor Chronicles was good without Arnold.

Yeah. I never watched Sarah Connor Chronicles, though in retrospect I wish I did because I love Lena Headey and Shirley Manson. But after the dud that was T3, I felt like the life was sucked out of the franchise. Salvation reignited my interest because of Bale and the trailers looked cool, but the movie sucked. Genisys was straight-up trash. I want to believe in this sequel because of Hamilton, Arnold and Mackenzie but I’m still 50/50 on it.

Anyway, it still strikes me as funny that both Cersei and Danaerys have played Sarah Connor.

It's crazy to me that with the success Deadpool brought to Tim Miller - he decided to follow it up by diving into this dead horse.

Miller's had it a bit rough post Deadpool with both the Sonic disaster and now this movie getting a lukewarm response from fans. At least the featurette looked promising.

Both are looking like a badasses. Specially Arnold. That is what I call aging with style.

Agreed. Probably because it's reminiscent of the steel mill in T2, in terms of lighting and Sarah's look.
In general work of Greenberg with Cameron. The way he sets lights. Plus familiar faces, of course.

I like how the production stills look more like James Cameron's Terminator than the actual footage.

Arnold is old as F but the man is still a tank hope the movie turns out great but from what has been shown not so much but lets hope and that Furlong Spoiler sounds like horse ****
