Was this shot in film or digital? It just feels too bright and shiny, which is why it reminds me of Genisys.
Cool shot. Still just looks like a mixture of the last three sequels though. Maybe the team behind it can make it work but I’m not feeling it that much right now.
it makes no sense trying to explain an aged terminator when Cameron in 2015 said that he is aging because they wanted Arnold back. thats the only reason.
They’ve never been able to take the Terminator franchise past Arnold. That’s why the quality has continued to descend, and this is why this movie will probably suck too.
When you’re constantly trying to write your story around justifying the presence of one actor, you’re onto a loser.
If there isn’t a convincing, compelling, interesting Terminator story that doesn’t include Arnold, then at this stage they shouldn’t be making more movies.
But arguably, he’s the reason why the films were successful in the first place, so without him the films don’t get made anyway.
Terminator series is the perfect example of a franchise that only exists to make money, not to tell stories.
Now that looks nice. The first promo pic that feels a bit like Cameron.

Ehh, Sarah Connor Chronicles was good without Arnold.

In general work of Greenberg with Cameron. The way he sets lights. Plus familiar faces, of course.Agreed. Probably because it's reminiscent of the steel mill in T2, in terms of lighting and Sarah's look.
That remains to be seen.So...
Deepfake John Connor?
