Repeat: I always thought Jeff Jarrett was underrated. The guy is a good worker and decent on the mic. Granted, his country singer gimmick wasn't main event material, but once he got his hair cut and grew the goatee to show his serious side, I really do think the makeover gave him the credibility he needed. Too bad Austin couldn't let personal feelings go and refused to work with him so when JJ went to WCW and won the world title, I thought he deserved it. He was certainly better than some of the other guys who held the belt.

By the way, does anybody know the story of why The Iron Shiek hates Brian Blair so much?

I can't really think of anyone I dislike more than Jarrett. X-Pac heat too.

The guy is a mid card goon at best.

As for Iron Sheik...

The guy is bat**** crazy.

In all seriousness he hates him because Blair had quite a mouth, and ego back in the day.
He regularly made claims that he was a better worker, and wrestler than others and had no respect for his peers.

I too have hated Jeff Jarrett for pretty much ever. Especially during his feuds with Razor Ramon when I was younger. I dug his work for a brief time when he was trying to join the Horsemen, and after Lockdown I think I enjoy him again. He didn't do most of the heavy lifting, but he played his heel role on the money.

Anyone watch/order King of Trios from Chikara? Here's my review of night 2: http://henchmanforhire.com/2011/04/chikaras-king-of-trios-2011-night-2/

Eric Bischoff posted the following on his Facebook account: "Just read Kevin Nash's latest update on Scott Hall. I agree with Kevin 100% on the real issues at the core of Scott's problems. God bless Kevin as well as Scott's family and friends. I hope they find a way to reach Scott before its too late. Scott really is a good man underneath all the scar tissue and pain."

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Spinal Stenosis is ultimately what ended Edge's WWE wrestling career. Spinal Stenosis is a condition in which the spine narrows, putting pressure on the spinal cord. Wrestlers who suffer from Spinal Stenosis such as Edge and Steve Austin, can risk paralysis if they take one bad in-ring bump.

Additionally, it's being said that the condition is genetic, and typically doesn't cause issues for people until they reach their seventies, but with wrestlers the condition is obviously more easily developed. While their is a possibility the condition could worsen even after retirement, it's being said that Edge and Austin have a very good shot at recovering well and living comfortably.

Austin probably realized what almost everybody else did: That Jeff Jarrett wasn't worth lacing up his boots and going to work over. Double J couldn't carry water in a bucket much less a world title or world title match.

I laughed my a** off when Vince McMahon basically PUBLICLY told Jeff Jarrett he was f***ed on the air during the night of the final Nitro.

Jeff Jarrett is a midcarder for life. I feel bad that he got saddled with one of the lamest damn gimmicks ever in WWF but that doesn't change the fact that he's got nepotism to thank for half his career. Even his old man said no matter how many guitars he swings it won't make him any more over.

When WCW tried to make Jarrett a horsemen I felt like they were pissing in the audiences face with that garbage.

But in WCW the fact that Russo made him the top guy shows how incompetent Russo is and why Jarretts been on Russo's nuts ever since. He basically owes him cause he was the only one who was stupid enough to give Jarrett the strap.

The best thing Jarrett ever did was finally get out of TNA's main event because with a guy like that at the helm they looked FIFTH rate. Thats why the X Division got more talk than the damn champion. But what do I know I'm a TNA apologist...I shouldn't even be able to criticize Jeff Jarrett but somehow I am!

Sheiky wants to find out just what kind of mouth Blair has by making him "humble." :funny:

Jeff Jarrett - broke 9,000 guitars, never drew a dime

I liked him, but I despised when he made himself TNA champ for the better part of 3 years

You could give Jeff Jarrett a pencil and he STILL couldn't draw a dime. He sucked that bad as a main eventer.

I see somebody has been watching Mike Graham on the Rise an Fall of WCW though! :hehe:

Jeff Jarrett runs his mouth at an Olympic level. That's got to count for something.

BTW Jarrett sucks

'Double J' was one of my least favorite gimmicks back in the day . I never thought he flat out sucked though

In regards to the depush of Sheamus months ago, the answer was revealed in PWI's Q&A section
Q: Watching Raw, 2/28. Twenty minutes into the show and all I can think of is "Who did Sheamus piss off?" One pedigree on a (badly) gimmicked table and the ready made HHH feud appears to be done. He then goes on to be pinned quickly and cleanly by a returning Evan Bourne. Yeah, I know, he was still selling the pedigree, but wow, he really came across as an 80's jobber tonight. What's happening with King Mayo?

A: Sheamus hadn't reached an agreement for a new deal with WWE, so Sheamus definitely got depushed for a while. They definitely weren't going to put him over until they knew he was locked in. That included the rather abrupt end to the HHH feud, although that was getting dropped anyway so HHH could do the Undertaker program.

PWI

Neither did I until his 2nd WCW run

Jeff Jarret looked like a fool who went shopping with Orlando Jordan.

I'd love to hear this break out in a WWE arena again one day:

[YT]_yQsPE7pzNo[/YT]

Epic theme song.

for all his craziness, I think if the WWE offered him a good enough deal, he'd go back

Haven't really been following him at all since he went to TNA, do you think he'd be healthy enough to go back to WWE?

i dont know the main reason kurt left was because he wanted to be on top and be a champion of a brand like hhh was

angle has a huge ego and when he saw he was being phased out and into a position of helping guys get over he got mad

kind of like brock when he realized he was being shifted out of the main event scene for newer blood

I thought he left because of his injuries or something, WWE told him to take a break but he wouldn't.

he also was hurting and wouldn't take time off....the WWE wouldn't clear him to wrestle unless he took some time off and he got into it with Vince

so they let his contract run out and he left....at least that's what I read

What I liked about this song was it had a vibe of the old music from the mid to late 80s, early 90s. It felt like a throwback with enough updating to make it work.
