- John Morrison spoke with The Miami Herald this week. Here are some highlights:
His hopes for WrestleMania 28:
"I love Miami. I’m stoked that we are going there next year. If we are not going to be in Los Angeles, we may as well be in Miami. I love the sun. Next year I hope and expect to be main eventing WrestleMania. I want to come in as WWE champion or world champion or be involved in a WWE championship or world championship match."

expect?

I think his work ethic has a lot to do with that as well. Cena never 'coasts' like a lot of other guys that are put through the same process. He genuinely gives 110% at all times. Whether the storyline is crap or not, he throws himself into it.

Yeah that seems to be his attitude 24/7, I read an article a while back saying how he's always willing to do whatever is needed. He'll happily get up at 4am to do an interview over the phone or other things like that, and he'll do it with zero complaint. Even though he's the face of the company he never gets an ego and starts thinking he's above things.

- Bret Hart announced on Twitter that he will be hosting Breakfast Television in Calgary next Tuesday morning.

- WWE Tough Enough trainer Bill DeMott's book "The Last Laugh" is scheduled to be in print soon and available for purchase by the end of May.

- Up until when Edge retired, WWE was planning on holding the Draft in June. The two three-hour RAW shows in June were scheduled to be the Draft and King of the Ring. No word yet on what the other three-hour show will be used for but King of the Ring will still likely take place.

As noted before, WWE has re-written next week's RAW several times already and creative is said to be in a "panic mode" after having to change plans.

- John Morrison spoke with The Miami Herald this week. Here are some highlights:

Changes to his character:
"I think the main reason people take me more seriously now is my beard. I think that is the thing that has made the John Morrison character turn the corner and become looked at as a title contender. As someone people see or could see me in the ring with John Cena, The Rock and Steve Austin, even The Miz. I can’t believe I just said that, but The Miz is there. He is the WWE champion. All those guys were or are at the top for a reason. The more serious attitude, the aggression and the anger is something Johnny Nitro never had and John Morrison had been lacking prior to this year. I think I tapped into some very real things as would any method actor would."

:lmao: I love seeing this logic in wrestlers. ''I have a beard so you have to take me super cereal now''

You know what would REALLY make John Morrison's character work great? Just one promo from him that didn't stumble all over itself.

The guy has blown every opportunity they've given him...

The thing is, while the youth movement has been a failure...some headway has been made.

Sheamus is a believable main eventer...move him to Smackdown and give him the belt.
Wade Barrett is worthless...but it isn't his fault. He did his best with terrible booking. Make him a solo act and reset him as a top level heel.
The Miz is there...book him well enough to keep him there.
Cody Rhodes has been GOLD with two incredibly stupid gimmicks that should have buried his career. Great midcard act.
Kofi Kingston botched his push...but not nearly as bad as others, and is better rounded as a top tier guy than Morrison etc. Give him another shot.

Some guys have been failures and have no one but themselves to blame (John Morrison, R Truth, Ted Dibiase, Drew McIntyre). These guys should be moved around a bit in the draft and repositioned as jobbers for the guys who ARE proving themselves. Some of the worst offenders (like Heath Slater and Vladamir Kozlov) can just be fired.

Nah, he doesn't need to work on anything. He just needs a bigger beard.

IF the draft ain't in June, then when is it??

the WWE is like a really nice stretch hummer that doesn't crank sometimes, has some scuff marks on it, needs some new tires, and smells a little like ass, with a hot tub and bar but if you wanna ride in it...you have to play by Vinces rules

Fixed.

What happened to those 12 or so releases we were supposed to see after mania?

the rumor was that around 10 releases would come after the European tour...which is happening now.

I heard that Bret is going to be on Tough Enough soon.
