Batman Begins Thanks from Larry Holden

I'll tell you... it IS amazing. I just returned home from the theatre (almost 3 AM here)... you did a great job, as all the people involved. I can only thank you guys for making such a wonderful movie, so I hope you get to do more and more like this. Thumbs up...

That's music to my ears. Thanks. How did the audience like it? Don't answer that - yet - get some rest first, and then let me know. Best, Larry Holden. ([email protected])

Yeah, I know... but I'm growing long hair and a beard just in case Chris wants to sneak me in there somewhere. Best, Larry Holden ([email protected])

Even if you don't have that, they could always sneak you in in a flashback when introducing Dent.

Big clapping at the end... and the theatre was full at a midnight showing...

Everyone involved in this movie should be very proud of their work. Thanks for posting Larry and you can tell Chris that he's made alot of Batman fans very happy. I'm very protective of my favourite fictional character and would voice my disgust if he was misrepresented but that certainly isn't the case with this film.

I will. Trust me, everybody was very focused on giving everybody what they wanted... as impossible as that is, know what I mean? Thanks for the kind words. Best, Larry Holden ([email protected])

You could always suggest to Nolan (in the event of a sequel) that you can play the role of Merkel. Sure it is small, but it has a place in the Bat mythos. He is a cop who works at the GPD with Gordon.

Really? My theater only had about 20 people in it. Of course, I live in a smaller sized town...

Thanks! That would be sweet. Best, Larry.

Great! Best, Larry Holden ps: I thought I told you to get some rest. Ha.

Will Nolan and/or Bale come here? At least we'll have a trio of stars from the film talking to us.

Have you talk

I'll call if you want me to...
...but I understand why you wouldn't believe it was me. I'm actually surprised myself I'm doing this. But it seemed the cool thing to do. Anyway, if you want, give me your number and I'll call. Best, Larry Holden.

hi larryholden, thanks for the private message you sent offering to call me, but that is unneccessary as I don't have any questions to ask..

if you could take a camera phone pic or digital pic of yourself holding a piece of paper saying "To all the batman begins fans on SHH!" that would be way better.

Best,
Gary Oldman

Have you talked to Nolan or Bale or even Goyer after the film was released? If so, what do they think of the reaction?

Goodnight, all. This has been a very cool experience. Have to say goodnight, as the wife is calling dinner time, and reminding me it's Friday night. Ha. But I'll try and check in when I can down the road. But feel free to write me at: [email protected]. Again, thanks for all the kidn words. I don't deserve them, but I'll take them. Chris and the gang are the real heroes / stars. Best always, Larry Holden (Finch)

Batman2005, why are you having such a hard time believing a celebrity would visit the SHH boards? We've had some famous people stop by before.

Ohhhhh!!! Okay...I knew he looked familiar! Dang, Mr. Holden...you sure are a chameleon! When I saw you in Insomnia, I didn't know that was you were the same guy who was killed at the end of Memento. That's a compliment! Keep up the great work and best of luck with your career.

I'll tell them to, but who knows? They're all around the world right now, spreading the word. But, no, I haven't spoken to those guys yet. They would probably yell at me for not seeing the film yet, and for blowing off the premieres. Best, Larry Holden.

Yeah. Let's see...I know MSJ stopped by a few times throughout Daredevil's production and release...who else?

Man... with compliments like that, I'll never leave this site. Ha. Thank you so much. And hey, just for that, give me a direct email address (write me at [email protected]) and I'll send you my temp. mailing address, so you can send me anyting you might want to sign - if you do, that is. But man, thanks for the kidn words, seriously. That word chameleon is an actor loves to hear - even though it does cost me in some ways. Always has. Thanks so much. Best, Larry Holden.

The guy that wrote the Constantine novelization, and I've heard it told Guillermo Del Toro reads the Hellboy section.

Yeah, and I'm not really some big star or anything. Just a human being who loves film, that's all. Thanks for the defense. Best, Larry Holden
