I was going through my program guide on my cable box looking for "The Dead Zone" which I haven't seen but really want to and I saw the listing for TDK, which I guess premieres on HBO this weekend. I was very happy to see that it got a four star rating--the highest for movies (at least on TV)! I have always thought that it was a great movie, but this just makes me more excited. I just wonder if on HBOHD if they will show the IMAX (Blu-Ray) version, or if they will zoom to fill the screen as they often do on TV (a la Batman Begins on AMCHD). It doesn't really matter to me, since I don't have HBO and I already have the movie on BR.

The movie will appear the same way, as if you bought the formatted version dvd - 4:3 Aspect Ratio.

Not on the HD movie channels. They usually crop it to 1:78:1 for widescreen TV's, even if the movie has a wider aspect than that (such as all of Nolan's movies including TDK).

haha funny you bring that up because last night i specifically looked up the dark knight on my tv to see how many stars they gave it. it excited me as well!
