The Dark Knight Rises What DO you like about The Dark Knight Rises?

Good grief where do I begin, lol I loved the entire movie. But i'll do my best with the scenes I loved the most.

I'm surprised no one has bought up Selina's priceless reaction when she sees Bruce is still alive. She didn't breakdown crying because she's no dismal in distress, but she definitely got teary in the eyes for about 5-10 seconds before going back to her hard ass personality. And I like that he doesn't make her apologize before asking her help or giving anything to her like most people would, because he can tell from her eyes that she was sorry. And the look on her face when he's coming out of the shadows like she's possibly just seeing a ghost :yay:. Another great acting scene from Anne Hathaway, and perfect chemistry, bantering, and flirting from Bale and Hathaway.

Favorite Moments

The emotional core of the movie. All the scenes between Alfred and Bruce really hit me, the acting was powerful, as well as the dialogue. I felt the pain that both Bruce and Alfred were going through. And hearing Bruce say "there's nothing out there for me" was really emotional basically saying he has no problem dying if it came down to that :csad:.

Batman revealing to Gordon to who he is by saying "A hero can be anybody even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulder, telling him the world isn't going to end", and Gordon remember the emotional moment, and realizing he's Bruce Wayne. He's telling Gordon basically that he was Bruce's hero.

Batman vs. Bane interactions and fights. The first fight was brutal, and depressing the way Bruce/Batman was getting his ass beat down for the first time in his life, but it was done so well and the dialogue from Bane was so intense. The second fight was awesome to, and I loved seeing Bruce/Batman finally getting the beat down on Bane.

The final 10 minutes of this movie from Batman and Catwoman going after the bomb, Batman's reveal to Gordon, thinking that Bruce had really died, Alfred at the funeral, Blake being Robin, Bruce being alive at the cafe with Selina. Just everything about the last final minutes of the movie were beyond epic. And the music especially when we see Bruce alive was AWESOME.

The additions of Bane, Selina Kyle/Catwoman (who did steal almost all the scenes she was in, and the chemistry she had with Bruce/Batman), and Blake were fantastic. I liked the addition of Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul, but definitely not as much.

Batman's first appearance, the stock market scene, the cops chasing them, than Batman and Catwoman taking on Bane's men together on the rooftop :cwink:. Of course Catwoman almost ruined it when she said "I had it under control." Yeah right Catwoman, then why did you runaway right when you saw Bane slowly coming towards you? Haha, she would have been dead meat.

Bruce in the pit.

Bruce/Batman, and Selina/Catwoman bat pod scene, especially the "come with me" plea.

And lastly of course seeing Bruce Wayne alive.

Other moments I Loved

All of Bruce/Batman and Selina/Catwoman interactions especially the ball scene, the rooftop fight, and when Bruce comes out of nowhere on her when he returns to Gotham. Bruce also calling her out on her BS in the apartment scene was hilarious :woot:.

All of Bruce and Lucius interactions

All of Bruce and Blake interactions

The character of John Blake aka Robin. Some people are being way too hard on this character. This character was great, very interesting, and pretty bad-ass for basically a rookie cop. Like someone else said he's like a mix of Bruce/Batman/Gordon all mix into one. A very good hearted cop, and I love all his interactions with Gordon. He's not Robin with the cape, but compare to other Robins he's by far the best one to date. He wasn't the whinny ***** that Chris O'Donnell's Robin was. He was actually really likeble, and performed of course superbly by Joseph Gordon-Levitt who just keeps on proving to be one of the best uprising actors in Hollywood, and I couldn't have picked anyone better for the role.

The character of Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Best Selina Kyle/Catwoman put to screen by far. I enjoy the darker and emotional moments more, but this was a great character that had a surprisingly great emotional arc that definitely made her much more than a one dimensional character for one. Anne Hathaway delivered a surprisingly great performance. She was sexy, seductive, charming, mysterious, funny, and believable in the action scenes. They did a great job showing how selfish Selina Kyle can be, but also showing there's a good heart in her somewhere, and a person that's lost which is what Bruce saw. She made many mistakes, and sending Batman into Bane's trap without warning him or anything was her biggest one, but she saw the consequences of her actions, and regretted it. When he see her saving the boy from the thugs, we see how much she's changed, and when she sees Bruce alive again you can see how happy and relieved in her eyes she is to see that he wasn't killed, and how her feelings for him have changed. She had definitely begin falling for him at that point, especially when he still showed how much trust he actually still has in her. Definitely the best female character in the series.

All the performances were outstanding from Bale, Caine, Hathaway, Hardy, Gordon-Levitt, Oldman, Cotalliad, and Freeman. Yes some of them didn't have as much to do as others, but when they were on screen they were great.

Bane was a bad-ass villain, and despite being almost turn into a bit of a puppy at the end and taking out so easily, he's still the second best villain of the series behind The Joker. But it's really to compare the two. Bane is definitely stronger, and will kill you within a second, but The Joker's very unpredictable and can play so much with your mind which I love. Imagine seeing them going head to toe, or together in a scene. R.I.P. Heath Ledger, we'll miss you man. Great performance from Tom Hardy.

The best death scene in the movie is BY FAR John Daggett's death. Awesome scene! So intense, and you can sense the fear in Daggett. Bane was such a bad-ass monster. in this scene, and the dialogue wow was epic. The Daggett weasel sure had it coming though lol. And the look on Stryver's face after hearing Daggett scream and being killed by Bane was priceless, lol.

The opening plane prologue was great to. As great as the bank one in Dark Knight? No, but it was still pretty epic and I loved a lot of the dialogue. It showed how bad-ass and menacing Bane could be. "CRASHING THIS PLANE." And the music again was epic.

The soundtrack from Hanz Zimmer was amazing as always.

Finally someone with a brain giving the most dangerous and lethal batman villain what he deserved from the beginning. So i liked pretty much everything expect bane's extremely rushed death. But guess batman was so fu*ked up that he had no chance against him at all.

No venom, no ridiculous muscles nor inhuman size, a working brain rivaling batman. Thats what Bane's about and im so happy that this version will be remembered amongst ignorant kids rather than those schumaer disaster or terribly drawn comic covers.
