Here's a couple of images of a Thor picture I was working on.

The initial sketch (sorry it's a bit blurry)

The final image after adding the colours

Any constructive criticism is welcome. :yay:

Sorry for a lack of image quality. Maybe I should learn how to use my scanner?

I tried something new with the shadow beneath her, but it didn't really work.

Thanks! :woot: I'm currently working on some Batman and Robin stuff. No idea when I'll finish it though.

Cool, but I think you should work on your faces and making your characters seem less stiff.

Yeah the face for Thor could probably use a bit of work, but after all the shading and such is done everything looks pretty professional and awesome!

the pose could use a liiiittle work, Thor looks he drank too much coffee. :p

New stuff! Here's the pencils for a Batman and Robin picture I've been working on:

And here's the shading:

I tried using my scanner for these, and for some reason, a bit of Batman's foot got cut off

Some work on Jean Grey I've been doing.

Some of the shading seems to have messed up on the second image :csad: And yeah, I know the anatomy is a little weird in this one.

I like your stuff! Your sense of composition is good, all you need is practice!

Good stuff all around! Keep it up.

So after some work stuff and doing drawings as presents, I've finally done some more stuff. Here's the first attempt I've made at telling a story:

And here they are with the pens on them:

What I've learnt from this is that I should use odd-shaped panels less often, and I should practise on keeping characters on-model. It's allllll a learning curve.

This time I've done a close-up Joker portrait. My girlfriend and I agree that he turned out a little thin in places, even for the Joker, but overall, I like what I've done.

EDIT: Not sure why he images won't come up, but it's quarter to one in the morning here, and I'm pretty tired. I'll try and fix things in the morning.

EDIT 2: Might be because I put a mature warning on them on my deviantART page. But it's late again, so I'll check later.

Here's a quick Superman sketch I did as my first piece of art on Bristol Board. Fairly pleased with it, though the somewhat static pose and age on the face don't leave me that impressed.

Here it is with pens over it. I tried to avoid any really large areas of heavy black because, hey, it's Superman.

Who's strong and brave, here to save the American Way? Who vows to fight like a man for what’s right night and day? It's the Star Spangled man with a plan, here in my version of a WW2 look. Here's the pencils:

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with it, but I think the shield and the detail on the top of his shirt could use some work.

Over the past week or so, I've been working on an Iron man piece. Here's the pencil version:

I think the pose is pretty meh for this, as is some of the detail on the armour, mainly the legs and the right hand, though I am pleased with the upper body of it.

Some nice work, you've got some skills, some nice detail work.:)

I find Batman's cape to be fairly difficult to draw/shape but you do a great job with it.

I dig your Iron Man sfm - I feel you're stronger with Mech-art.
(lol I see one pic and decide to throw artistic facts, my bad)

Thanks, but what does "sfm" mean? It's a term I've not heard before.

Really liked the Batman story page...the big panel on the right has great perspective, and those fine, clean lines on the building at the top make a sweet backdrop to the main figure coming up at you!
