If I can be a stay-at-home dad, I'll take it. Always wondered what it would be like to be a kept man.

You'll get to watch Oprah and Young & the Restless all day long.

I'm in no way in support of the Tea Party, just saying that will be what they would say if people continue to call them racist. It's not a good sign for a movement when one of their supporters is that big fat druggie, Rush Limbaugh.

Dude had an addiction to pills. Millions of Americans have been through that. He got treatment, no longer is on the pills. He's also not really fat anymore. Lost a lot of weight. And I'll take his support over the philandering, perjuring, egomaniacal, impeached, disbarred former attorney from Hope, Arkansas any day.

I don't listen to the guy anyways. I'd prefer to listen to to Colin Cowherd get into a heated shouting match with a couple of callers over College Football's BCS or have Eric Allen and John Clayton get into a debate over who's the better NFL QB.

Good for him though if he's gotten over the drugs and lost a lot of weight.

And did anyone see the ratings for the election coverages last night? Yikes. The ratings were not good.

Yes. Absolutely.

Instead we get Reid who will drive us economically to the dark ages

WIN!

Look at it this way, who would you rather have: Majority Leader Harry Reid or Majority Leader Chuck Schumer/Dick Durbin.

I'll take Reid by far.

I'll agree with you that rush gets unfairly attacked at times. He's far less wacky these days than he ever used to be. But to say you'd rather have his endorsement than Bill Clinton's is just nuts. You're talking about the most talented politician of his generation and a guy who still is enormously popular among the public.

Clinton could **** every single person who has ever posted on these boards. Male or female, living or dead. He's that good.

I would rather have Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and a vote for FairTax than Majority Leader Reid and one less vote for FairTax.

People would rather watch an NCIS re-run and a bunch of has-been/nothing celebrities dancing instead of Election coverage:

Mark Harmon is that awesome

Clinton could be standing in the middle of a room talking and convince you he's not in that room

that good

Oh you mean the one that has spent the past decade raising for millions for charities while also reaching out to foreign diplomats to try to smoothe relations as opposed to spouting bile on the airwaves?

Yeah, I mean that guy. Con artists are great at manipulating people and raising money. How much of his own money did he give away? According to the New York Times, for the years 1999-2006, the Clintons reported over $100 million in income and deductions for over $10 million in charitable donations. Where did those donations go? To their own foundation, which until Hillary decided to run for president had not given away any of that money. So they were basically just sheltering that cash, while claiming deductions, until they realized someone would get wise once she declared her candidacy and they had to release their tax documents.

Rush is ranked #10 by Parade Magazine and Free Republic in charitable giving among celebrities, and that's only counting what is reported. A lot of his donations are unreported, including his legendary tips for good service. And his "bile" happens to attract the largest radio audience in the country. The same audience that just shellacked the Obama agenda and Congressional Democrats.

My state must have the most idiotic voters in the US. Polls taken over the past month suggest that less than 10 percent of registered voters in California are satisfied with the direction the state is headed in. I understand that the republicans running against Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer were lousy candidates. However, I thought the most logical thing to do would be to give some new people a chance who at least have some semblance of business savvy. Unfortunately, basic reasoning skills and logic don't apply to at least half of the voters in this poor excuse for a state.

These election results in California are pretty hard for me to stomach. Loretta Sanchez getting re-elected inspite of her idiotic and borderline racist comments about her opponent is mindbogglingly to the millionth degree.

I was rather surprised that Brown and Boxer won. California is so far in the red that you would think Boxer's penchant for entitlement spending would've been rejected by the voters.

California is a lost cause. I wish that they would break away from the US because the rest of us are going to have to keep bailing them out.

And his "bile" happens to attract the largest radio audience in the country.

Last year in the town just north of me, in Belleville, IL 3 kids got into a fight on a schoolbus. Video from a security of this fight, between two black children and a white child got leaked to our local news, it was a story, but then it died down.

Somehow the story made its way to Rush.

He opens his show talking about the news story and after explaining what happenned proclaimed "WELCOME TO OBAMA'S AMERICA"

....as if 3 kids getting in a fight has anything to do with the President.
He then went on to portray the story as a sign of things to come and relate to some kind of evidence that a black uprising is on the horizon.

How is this not the very definition of fear mongering? Just because millions of people listened to it didn't make it less rediculous.

I am in full agreement that it is within his rights to say this, and within the right of others to believe it, but its also within my rights to say that he is an outright tool.

I figured it being California that Brown and Boxer would win, what I was surprised at was the amount they won by.....and pretty much for the reasons you stated above.

I laughed at the fact that these two won, but the prop for legalizing marijuana didn't....lol
