I was annoyed that Kamala didn't just say "I've never met Vladimir Putin." Instead she went on about meeting Zelenskyy. She should have said both. Maybe that's minor but I like it when a candidate isn't evasive about a question.

But yes, Kamala seemed much more poised than Trump was in this debate or Biden was in the previous debate. She seems much more "steady hand" even if she was typically vague. Politicians are like that, especially during an election. Trump was just an angry man that didn't want to be bothered with this. He is used to rallies where he can ramble and no one contradicts him. Anyone see how quickly he walked off the stage?

I want to see the polling afterward, but certainly the pivot was the right move. Neither Biden nor Hilary debate Trump well. Hilary got caught up in the cat fight and Biden kept getting rattled by the interruptions in 2020 and it got him off script and the previous debate...the man was a corpse. Here, Kamala got in jabs but was in control. She was in control of the debate. She didn't get sucked up in Trump chaos and let him just take over. The fact the Republicans are whining about the moderators already says it all. They know he lost badly

Nah, I think what will hurt the most is being so unhinged while she was so calm. He needs the undecideds, and he did not win many tonight.
