🇺🇸 The 2024 U.S. Presidential Debate Thread

US News
My friend's reaction after reading his remarks...

:funny: No need for it to be a question in this case.

I'm surprised Harris didn't say anything about how Trump is the old man now and losing his mind.

The origins of the Haitians eating people's pets have been revealed to be from a Neo Nazi of Springfield, Ohio by the name of Nathaniel of his hate group the Blood Pride. He used the video of a woman being arrested for killing a cat in Canton for his own hateful rhetoric.

The thing you have to realize is that 31% of the people in this country would watch Trump actually eat a neighborhood dog and say something like "he's just showing us what the Haitians do".....or some such tripe. When he starts to break 46 or 47 percent by any substantial margin, it's time to worry.

Trump reads material from these circles all the time so no surprise that he comes out with this ****, even in a presidential debate.

Obviously not all viewers are voters...

159 million votes were cast for president four years ago.
I didn’t realise these debates are so skewed to 55+ viewers. I expected them to easily be the biggest group watching the debate but not quite to that extent.

Election Exit Polls | Voters Age 50+
2022: 59% (midterm)
2020: 52%
2018: 56% (midterm)
2016: 46%

The electorate seems to just be getting older as time goes by.

This probably is why Trump and the Republicans are still so competitive now that I think about it: not only are younger Americans registered to vote less but they are getting crowded out by a surge in older voters participating more and more.

He wasn't the best, but definitely second best.

Remember Bush Republicans found a new home on supposed liberal media sources CNN and MSNBC all because they said, "Orange Man Bad". We'll go back to hating each other once the nutjob is gone.
