Although Trump said some crazy things in this debate, I feel that he was more defensive in his debate with Hillary Clinton. In that one he came out with phrases like "such a nasty woman" or protesting "no puppet, no puppet, you're the puppet!" when told that he was Putin's puppet. In that debate he sometimes seemed less contained.
