Why? It isnt their fault you believed a rumor online. They dont need to have a panel at WonderCon and they dont need to show the trailer yet.

It would be one thing if hry themselves were hinting at it or promising it but nothing I have read has said anything about the trailer coming yet.

The only people who know are Wan and WB. Best to just assume everyone else is guessing.

WB is probably delaying the release of the teaser trailer so as to attach it to A:IW.

WB wants A:IW to be Aquaman's first big exposure to the movie-going audience. It makes sense since Ready Player One and Rampage is getting the Fantastic Beasts 2 teaser trailer as the WB tent-pole offering. WB probably doesn't want to release both at the same time. I could be wrong tho.

WB has done enough to blame them for everything. I'm talking you falling on banana peel even, their fault . They need to win back the fans and so far they haven't started doing that in the open (lol at that JL Blu-Ray promo on their twitter recently) but hopefully they actually did with executives seeing Wan's editing room door and slowly backing away, turning around and moving FAR from it.

To think the Wonder Con trailer is on Saturday but even if they delay it and it doesn't come out on Saturday then from marketing strategy 101 that's good because then by faking out everyone you have more time to get your ducks in a row and when the time is right you WOW us with final product. The movie doesn't come out until December anyway so you have a lot of time to release the trailer. May or even June would be more ideal for the teaser trailer.
