Yeah looks like everyone who is believable is backing the claim there was a screening and that the crowd went nuts. Smart move out of WB to get a non-CB audience to screen it. That they loved it gives us all hope

I also can’t wait to hear that score by Rupert Gregson Williams; I absolutely LOVED his Wonder Woman Score which I found very Spiritual/Inspiring/Grand in all the best ways! Hope he knocks it out of the Park for Aquaman too

Gregson-Williams is a good composer. He can totally pull this off.

Let's not forget movement on FLASH as well.

I'm not against spinoff characters or less beaten track concepts getting a film treatment but right now, I would rather they concentrate on what is concretely happening and putting everything else on the shelf. Shelve GCS, SS2, Nightwing, Joker, JLDark and anything else.

Concretely we have SHAZAM filming now, AQUAMAN in post production WONDER WOMAN sequel, FLASH pre-production (I hope so with new directors coming on board) and Reeve still prepping THE BATMAN. Looking at Cavs being possibly in SHAZAM might indicate there's more momentum BTS for Supes as well. Here's hoping GLC has some word about it's current status changing sooner than later too.

the banter between Arthur and Mera I really liked. To me it was very reminiscent of Gal and Chris in WW. Although I liked it more given the type of adventure film it is. The comparison of Romancing the Stone is pretty accurate.

That will be big too. The 3 I was referring to were characters whose films establish areas of the D.C. universe, Themiscyra, Atlantis and the cosmic side. But aside from that I would also prefer them to focus on their big characters who are well along the way in the development process. I’m also open to all kinds of spinoffs and alternative concepts once they’ve got these core films done well.

Obviously the love story between Arthur and Mera will no doubt be built up and it will be organic. Hopefully if you can build on the love story between these 2 it could be one of the redeeming qualities/factors of Aquaman that will make it a great film.

Good because I remember reading that people didn’t believe she had the chops for this role. I thought she did ok in JL with the limited time she had. Does andbody know when that Comic Fade report is supposed to come out?

So with Ocean Master being the main villain, I'm thinking Black Manta will get a smaller role and then be recruited into LOD in a post credits scene.

Yeah Manta only has few scenes. But apparently he is in the film's best action scene according to someone who saw it. Still, 8 months is a long time until release.
