First trailers will always have people complaining about the cgi.
Always.

Justice league first trailer people complained....after the movie, people still complained

The second #AQUAMAN trailer for #hallh audience had awesome Black Manata footage and the money shot of Jason Momoa in legacy Aquaman outfit!

In regards to CGI, first trailers (especially for CBMs) almost always have unfinished cgi in them, so I don't fret about it too much.

Yeah I still like it. That scene with Arthur in the aquarium was awesome. Those quick shots of Orm fighting Arthur... not so much.

What I like about SDCC is that they give us something but they also do things just for those like extra bits of footage etc. I think of they didn't and just released it all online those it would be fair to those who attend.

I was one of the first to say "don't overthink stuff, just have them talk underwater" but now tha I see it I think it needs a little work. Just something to make it more believable that people are talking underwater.

An added soundeffect or some bubbles or both I dunno. I know James Wan will deliver.

One of the best shots of the trailer was the Black Manta guy using his "cyclops" laser on land to blast at Aquaman. That shot looked freaking legit.

The hole talking under water feels a bit weird. I don't know how they could make it look better.

More Atlantis scenes. The underwater scenes looks so great. Oh my god. The scope of this is SO epic. All the different kingdoms on full display. Sharks and alligators being ridden.

Hmmmm, I have mixed feelings. A lot of it looked good.

Same. But my issue is is it going to be the film itself or just that the trailer while a great look at the content wasn't as well constructed as it could have been. I am sure the texture of the CGI will be improved the closer we get to release so that's not a worry. And the action and production design look on point.

A few lines felt like they weren't delivered as good as they could have been and I'm sorry they packed a lot of humor in that should have been saved for the film itself.

But a good first look over all. It has the scope for sure.

The Atlantis stuff looks so dope. I'd say the visuals definitely looked the best in those scenes and I can't wait to see that big ass battle they have there with all the aquatic creatures. I wish we got to see a bit more of Black Manta though.

I was very happy with what we got from Manta and we are sure to get much more next time around. The sea creature battle looks crazy. Wan ain't holding back

I like what was shown to me, but I didn't like how it was shown to me. What a weird trailer. The movie itself looks promising, though.

Best part: Momoa. His Arthur reminds me of Brave and the Bold's Aquaman, which is obviously a good thing.
Woest part: the overpopulated fish tank at the beginning of the trailer. That just hurts to see. Yes, this is a serious criticism.
