God, I love ASM2. Listening to the score once again after a few months have passed, and just wow. Feelings of bliss.

As each day passes, I really care less and less (if that was even possible) about what others think of the movie. Its the best Spider-Man film by far and away.

To me its the second best still behind sm2 but it is by far the second best to me out of the 5 and it has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. I need to listen to the soundtrack again. I think I have went though the soundtrack about 12 times but not for sever weeks now. I can weight to see the movie again. I saw the movie 3 times in theaters. Where do you rank ASM2 when it comes to all time best CBM?

Out of curiosity, would you guys be interested in seeing Andrew's Peter and Dane's Harry have some kind of reconciliation with each other before their time in the series is over? Or would you guys want the series to end with them still being bitter enemies?

I really loved the scenes with them just being friends so I'd liked them to reconcile, yeah.

It's gonna be difficult though
I can't see Peter forgiving him after putting Gwen in danger which led to her death

I wouldn't forgive him ^^

Remember, Harry went crazy, he wasn't himself... if he got cured, it's a possibility.

I couldn't agree with you more, man. I honestly don't think I'll ever understand the hate for this movie.

That's a good question, but a tough one.

As much as I loved the two of them together this time around, I don't know how I'd feel about them reconciling after what happened to Gwen. I just can't say I would ever see it happening and I'm not sure if I'd want it to.

So, Dane DeHaan's wikipedia page has him down for Sinister 6... I don't recall if his involvement was confirmed or not.

I'd probably put my life savings on the Green Goblin appearing in S6, it's that likely to happen in my mind

I could be wrong but I don't remember it being confirmed before... Hopefully it's true though, would be great to have him involved.

Gah, I don't know where I would rank it among CBM really. Theres been a severe influx of truly great CBMs lately haha. Ill have to let a few months-years pass to really place it, but I have a feeling its the best Spiderman flick we will be getting for a very long time. I have hopes for ASM3, but we have no idea whats in store for that.

Is it in my top ten CBMs? Maybe, and thats special haha. I love Batman and X-men substantially more than Spider-man, and ASM2 can still manage to be in my top 10 CBMs.

If i could make a quick rough list off the top of my head, Id say

1. Batman 89
2. The Dark Knight Rises
3. Batman Begins
4. The Dark Knight
5. X-men
6. X-men DOFP
7. X2
8. Man of Steel
9. TMNT 1990
10. Amazing Spider-man 2

Movies like Spider-man 1, Captain America, Avengers, and the rest of the Batman films pretty much follow that list (as far as live action CBMs only.)

Remember, he was already crazy before the serum and he's gathering S6 after the serum ;)

So no,reconciliation it's a stupid idea.

In what way was he crazy before the serum?

Crazy at the point of giving Max freedom and getting innocent people killed because of such action? Getting paranoid that he's going to day tomorrow while Norman lived for years? Don't understanding Peter side of the coin?

Harry is even gathering S6 after he wasn't even GG anymore, he doesn't want reconciliation, Harry is dead.

1: He was driven to that, it's not insanity that's desperation. Totally different... it's the serum that drove him over the edge. And I totally understand Peter's side of the story, but he will understand that Harry's crazy. He forgave Dr Connors at least...

Harry is even gathering S6 after he wasn't even GG anymore, he doesn't want reconciliation, Harry is dead.

Once again, Harry is still crazy after that. He was still in the Goblin mindset.

Yeah but Doctor Connors didn't ****ed his life.

There are many many people that suffers from terminal diseases but they don't go insane lime Harry did even if they are looking for a cure, they spend their years left trying to find the solution or just enjoy the time left unlike Harry who got in a killing spree, he already had mental problems, his life wasn't the perfect one like Max.

He aimed a gun towards Menken and he was still on the control but now exploding his agony and frustration.

After causing Gwen's death Harry don't really care for anything besides his own selfish goals that is S6.

In the first trilogy it worked well the redemption story because Harry never provoked what this Harry did,he isn't himself anymore, he doesn't care for Peter forgiveness, that RavenCroft scene clearly said that.

Harry didn't kill anybody in this movie.

Also, once again he was desperate. He didn't want to die and he had the money and resources to get a cure so of course he's going to try harder than most people. Also, he had no mental problems, he was DESPERATE!!

Aiming a gun at somebody does not equal insane.

After causing Gwen's death Harry don't really care for anything besides his own selfish goals that is S6.

BECAUSE HE IS THE GOBLIN NOW, NOT HARRY! HE'S NOT IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND ANY MORE.

Really? So releasing Max wasn't his fault? Meh...

Like I said before his urgency wasn't need because it isn't like he's gonna die in minutes,he had all the money on the world to look for it.

On the context? Yes.

You didn't get it,her death cemented the new "Harry" that is leading S6,if she hadn't died even Gwen could forgive him but that's not the case.

I never said it wasn't his fault, I said he never killed anybody.

Like I said before his urgency wasn't need because it isn't like he's gonna die in minutes,he had all the money on the world to look for it.

Did you not see how quickly he started to look sick? He's gonna die soon, as Menken said "You're halfway in the ground already", and Harry's "I DO NOT HAVE TIME!" It's so obvious that the disease is accelerated in Harry.

On the context? Yes.

Are you talking about the gun thing? Because that's not true at all. He wanted the venom, so he aimed a gun at Menken to make sure he didn't try anything. He was desperate.

You didn't get it,her death cemented the new "Harry" that is leading S6,if she hadn't died even Gwen could forgive him but that's not the case.

Yeah, a new Harry. THE GOBLIN. The REAL Harry can still be in there, it's still possible.

He can be redeemed, Peter can forgive him. They just need a little... time. :cwink:
