Guys, the Target disc for TASM2 revealed that Norman IS coming back. Just thought I'd let you all know.

Why? Why do we need Norman when you look at this series? Sure he's a factor in the comics but he means nothing and was declared dead in this series.

Besides Harry killed Gwen which is the most important thing Norman ever did.

Bringing back Norman is like bringing back the Judge Lady in Dark Knight.

Couldn't really think of anything else to compare it to. It's just stupid.

Yeah they need to stop cutting out so much that is what I think is hurting this movies so much. I don't think the problem is so much that harry is goblin first I think the problem is that he killed gween so its like how do you have norman top his son killing peters love? It may have been better if they had harry has goblin and he trys to kill gween but fails and then next movie norman becomes goblin and trys to kill gween and is successfully or something.

I was watching the deleted scenes with Webb's commentary and I just didn't buy his justification for cutting out scenes such as Peter meeting Harry and Felicia, with Harry showing Peter the prototype of the Goblin suit. I felt that Webb even stuttered as he tried to explain some of the deleted scenes.

I would totally be on board for the bolded part. At least that way Cooper would have been utilized properly as well. At this point, even if there's rumors of his return to be confirmed, I have absolutely no idea what role he's going to play in all of this.

It's funny you bring up the Pumpkin Bomb because when Harry threw them at Peter and Gwen as Goblin, I heard my girlfriend say, "What the hell is that?" It's like they threw in a few things as gems for the true comic book fans, but they totally forgot that they're worth mentioning for the GA.

I'll continue to love this movie as well, but I truly feel as if S6 and TASM3 might be the last straw for a lot of people if they fail.

So before asm3 got deyland it was going to be 2016 and filming was going to start in October of this year witch means that we would have got casting news in problem September .But with now it not being intill 2018 but with sinister six coming out in 2016 I wonder when we will get are first casting news about sinister six?

Minor details like that matter even if the producers don't think they do. It really does start making you wonder where the brand is going in general. I think in retrospect a lot of the pieces will add up and they obviously have a lot more to explain if they plan on making entire movies about S6/Oscorp and Black Cat. Hopefully pushing back TASM3 to 2018 was a byproduct of them realizing how many areas they have to improve on; let's just hope the wait is worth it.

I think they should be fine with the amount of spinoffs they've announced. Keep in mind, there's going to be a Venom film as well, so they have plenty of room to spread subplots to explain things.

That's what was discussed here a few weeks ago. Based on the delay, that's most likely when we'll start to get any kind of news on the film. I'm sure by the beginning of 2015 we'll have much more to talk about than we do now. I still can't believe the TASM2 Blu-ray/DVD is already in my hands.

*sigh* after years od developing venom they decided to screw all of it and hire some talentless people to handle the work. why hire ed soloman and todd mcfarlane to handle venom? they're both horrible writers and mcfarlane is even worse. i don't care if he did create venom the guy is terrible and i really don't know what michiliene's writing is as of now. he was a brilliant writer then and i hope he is now.

it's great to see that sony does have faith in goddard. now the proof of that is if they really do care about goddard then he can do his own work with the sinister six and maybe after webb is done with the third movie you can let him do the 4th spiderman movie but you have to give webb some freedom too because if the third one is the last movie from him and if you do want to keep the rights to keep the company afloat then give webb a chance and let him work spiderman on his own. and please for the love of god hire some good or great writers like the guys from spectacular now or winter soldier or just rehire the guys from the first movie or something.
