Disney buys Sony, cancels this series, reboots in in the MCU with a Spidey series directed by Brad Bird.

We ****ing deserve this.

Well if we're talking dream world, Bird will be waiting until the Future Foundation script is finished to decide which franchise he wants to helm.

And Bird is close with Disney. He's done 2 Pixar films plus doing Incredibles 2 and doing Tomorrowland with Clooney.
