I recall RIM leaving the forums around the time of TASM releasing. I know many posters would have liked to have heard his opinion on TASM2. I wonder what he would make of this current situation.

I got the impression as well, that Andrew was like, things are very juvenile here, and writing is simply child play, in comparison to some of the other comic book films out there, and simply said he didn't want anymore part of it.

compare the intervews and documentaries for TASM and TASM2 and it seems like he was just a lot less excited

It's not like I'm saying Andrew looks like a 30 year old, I'm saying Dane looked younger than him. IMO Dane could pass for a teenager while Andrew can't (at least not anymore).
I know he's only 3 years younger.

I still remember the days I went to go see Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 for the first time. I was 10 and 12 and still vividly remember those days and what we did before the movies. Awesome memories I'll never forget. Sony and Raimi gave me that, so I'll always have respect for them deep deep down despite the garbage they've thrown at us the last 10 years.

I was 6 years old I remember I begged my dad to get me a vest because Peter had one in Spider-Man 2. I'll always think of Raimi's Spider-Man as the Spider-Man of my childhood.

Ha, I know if Amazing Spider-Man 3 was happening and none of this Marvel deal came up, I wouldn't be posting in this section.

If the deal doesn't happen it may be worth avoiding the forum for a couple of weeks until the weeping and wailing dies down.
I was on the fence but now Garfield is pretty much out regardless I want Marvel to take over and the Webverse to be binned.

I had almost forgotten the Spider-signal until reading some of the classic stories I got for Christmas. But it would definatly be great to see on the big screen.

What were some issues that you got?

A lot of the classic stories are fresh in my head because those are the issues I read over and over again.

Ditko's Spidey, the Spider-Signal, and other elements of the older stories are all things I want to see onscreen someday.

I think some of you missed my point. I meant, if this Marvel deal never came up, and Sony was going about Amazing Spider-Man 3 as planned, I would not be posting here.


But, the deal has come up, hence I'm here.

So, now if this Marvel deal falls thru, I will on these boards for the ranting and the wailing!

There's a couple of banned members whom I would have been interested in seeing their reaction to this. One of them I imagine has veins popping out of his forehead in anger.

Remember that guy that was convinced TASM2 was going to make 1.5 billion dollars or something? I remember he got outed as a previously banned member because of his twitter.
