Maybe the summit has happened and Sony are ditching S6 (in the wake of Suicide Squad) and pressing ahead with ASM3. Would have preferred a Marvel Spider-Man but I'm down with seeing Garfield in the role one more time. I only hope Goddard reigns it in.

I was just going to say I saw the thing about the casting call but looks like you guys are already on it lol. Would be odd if it was for asm3 in 2018 has that is pretty far off for casting. Maybe they moved asm 3 up and are not going to do the sinister six or maybe this casting is for the sinister six. Man I wish we could get some confurmed news already all this speciation is just to much and now with this casting call that just puts even more of a wincol in it.

If Marvel is truly not involved, and IF Marvel really can make a TV series, I think they should still put out their own TV series.

Oh another twist the never ending twist of sm lol. Did you guys see the new concept art on comic book movies.com for sm 1? It had concept art for goblin and for sm suit. Even though I like the goblin suit unlike a lot of people form sm1 some of the concept art for him looked even better.

i thought the same but what if they did it for make the movie more known instead of Sinister six

Could be that they moved asm3 up and are going to have sinister six after or that they are not going to do sinister six but have now moved asm3 up or something. Who knows any more. I get more and more confused ever day by all the rumors lol and we still don't know when the sumit is supposed to be another then this month so it could be tomorrow or the next day or the next day ect lol.

Kazuo Hirai, the Sony Corporation, CEO from Japan IS coming over to the US (if he has not here already) to oversee stuff personally as he felt he needed to be hands on at this time, and that was confirmed by several media sources.

So, they very well may have planned to just go ahead, but now that big daddy is in town, we will see if he makes them do otherwise or let's it go forward to ASM3.

I double checked Bill Beckman Casting's (the company who supposedly put out the call) Facebook page, and it was indeed posted on the 20th of November.

If sony keeps sm what dose ever one think is worse to either do asm3 or to reboot again? I think reboot again is worse for a few reason.
1. A lot of people like Garfield and I fell like have a 3erd guy play sm in a short time is going to turn even more people away then what have already been turned away.
2. I think having 2 reboots in a short time a lot of people will be like they are rebooting again what the heck!

I don't want a second Sony reboot. Either press ahead with TASM3 or rip it up and start again with Marvel.

That, and it could also be to straighten out the movie stuff. This is especially interesting if Sony Japan's desire for the deal to go through is true.

I'm sure it basically is, but according to rumors (and supposedly emails, although I haven't seen those) he's not happy with Sony Pictures direction in general so there could possibly be more there.
