This needs a poll, how many of you think Spidey would be better off at Marvel, with Spidey and Galactus and Silver surfer, the MCU could could be at it's full potential, Spider-man 2 is overrated imo it doesn't hold a candle to The Dark Knight, The Avengers or Captain America Winter Soldier, Iron Man 3, Dark Knight Rises, Iron Man, Marvel could easily surpass it.
I really want Sony to stop ruining the franchise and I still have some amount of hope with webb's stuff since Sony has disappointing box office records and even bankruptcy but if spiderman does go back to marvel I just want him as an adult. I am really tired of him being portrayed as a teenager and even people picturing him as one and I am really tired of what marvel thinks of him and the marriage. I also would love to see how David fincher does with spidey

i wouldn't mind a more mature Spidey, maybe in his early 20s like 24, wouldn't mind that at all, i prefer the teenage Spidey, but i think an older Spidey would fit better in the MCU.

Dude, I don't hate the teenage spidey. In fact I wouldn't mind seeing another tv series unless it invved him growing up but after everything that marvel keeps pulling an adult spiderman is exactly what we need. In fact, spiderman was never about youth. It was always about responsibility. He's just written a human being that's all

I Find it funny that people are saying Sony shòuld by choice sell the rights back to marvel like it would benefit them to lose one of marvels biggest multi-million dollar comicbook characters and I am pretty sure if any of you worked at Sony and you had the choice you wouldn't sell the rights back either because it would be incredibly stupid

Do Sony have a problem? Yes and it's that They don't have any real plan, everything is just on the shelf till they see some potential to use

Like I said if they really want to keep the rights that badly then they should stop screwing around because the two films Marc put in we're originally suppose to be better than the avengers and winter soldier. All Sony is doing are just acting like a bunch of immature bullies who just hire a guy they can mess around with

I did like TASM 2 but... :applaud

But that's the issue. It can't indefinitely sit on the shelf or the rights will revert back anyway. The problem there is instead of taking the time to plan a good Spider-man film, they'll wait till the last minute and hash out a mediocre film (aka ASM1 & 2).

Get it together, Sony!

But Spidey appearing in Avengers 3 would really excite me!

I still hold TASM as being better then the Raimi films though so I won't agree about it being mediocre at all, I need to see TASM2 again to make my final decision about it

But I can see the problems Sony is giving themselves

Spidey with FF !

So...
I just made a GIF thread for the original trilogy. Here's the link if anyone is interested:

http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=482745

They consist of reposts of the avvys Kane made and some which I made. I am gonna get started on some new ones soon. Let me know if you guys have a specific avvy in mind and I will make it.

If he's not part of a team and if the cast stays, I don't care which studio has him

Get a game plan for at least the direction in advance and hire a good writer and get Sony to back off

checking the credits i never realized they had like 4 writters involved with this if you count Vanderbilt, Kurtzman, Orci and Pinkner, wow that´s a lot of cooks in a little kitchen!

I just came back from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

I am disappointed.

I'm disappointed because I have to live with knowing and witnessing how awesome Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Captain America 2, and X-Men DOFP were all amazing and great and perfect 10/10 films that had good directors and good and smart writers that knew how to make a great story out of these 3 franchise and keep interest in them without doing some ******** to alienate the film audience and die hard fans

And then there's TASM2 which gets 2 terrible writers who don't understand story unless JJ is there to help them out and a director who said he was Michael Bay influenced and a producer who made sure they built to the future instead of the now along with repeating the same ******** from the film that you guys were like "we have to reboot it".

**** Avi, **** the writers, **** Marc, **** Matt Tomich, **** everybody except for the actors because I like them just not the direction of their characters. I like Andrew and think he can be a great Peter/Spidey but how he is written holds that back.

**** Sony's TASM series. I'm just blown away how we had a Spider-Man film come out and it's forgotten about because the film was lackluster.

If LeBron can come back to Cleveland, I know Marvel Studios can get Spidey back home. Just do it. Seriously, this **** is embarrassing.

Marc is also influenced by Nolan and the other guys from the MCU. Infact, with what the film looked especially the details gave us Marc is sort of the Michael bay done right because at least he knows how to handle effects and fight scenes well including keeping things entertaining.

Just made my day reading this.

Give the rights back to Marvel so they can reboot Spidey in a Netflix series. Spider-Man's story is perfectly suited for a tv series. He has too many great villains, it's so hard to do them all justice on film, and IMO none of the villains of the past 3 Spider-Man movies have really been done justice...

Spidey really needs to go back to Marvel

Actually it's not only the villains but the supporting casts, the development of each characters, the romance, etc. the spiderman mythos is so huge that it doesn't really need a movie. He works better on tv
