Are we saying that even if it's a great film it won't get good reviews? Or are we saying because Marc Webb's already directed one poor film, the next one will be poor too?

If it is a great film, it will get great reviews. But like I said, it doesn't happen often where a director makes a bad film in a franchise only for the same director to make a good one. Far, far more frequently quality stays around the same or gets worse. Webb hasn't made a great Spider-Man film in two shots, so it isn't likely he is going to do it now. Possible, but not likely. Especially since he just lost his best asset in Emma Stone.

We're just making predictions. None of us know what it actually will get, especially since this is very, very early. I never would have thought that TASM2 would have been as bad it is, even a month from release. But my expectations for TASM3 are low unless there are some major creative changes.

Yeah, that should end that stupid argument that nobody will accept superhero movies that aren't a part of the MCU. Nobody cares about the studio as long as the movies are good.

Oh ok, that makes much more sense For some reason, not your fault, I thought you meant it was destined to only go rotten. I think Webb's capable of directing a good film, whether he actually does is another question.

If TASM3 bombs, so should the franchise, and Sony's rights to the property, no excuses this time.

I don't care what critics say, i loved TASM 2 and i guarantee i'll love TASM 3 as long as Andrew is playing Spidey and Marc is directing, and Sally is playing Aunt may i'm on board!

I'm not talking about professional critics when I was in websites like CBM every time a new Days of Future past article was on there months before its released you had fanboys comments saying "This Movie is going to suck" "Fox are ruining X-Men give the rights back to Marvel" etc

I agree with this. The film needs to start with having a great script. I too think Webb is a very capable director but the things that have hampered his abilities are having scripts with issues and too much intereference from execs/producers. I mean, you don't go and start making major changes to a movie during principal photography. It's like they're trying to f*** up on purpose.

To be honest i don't know, i guess i just wanted to make a thread, as i hadn't made many threads before that, but i honestly don't care what they say, i'm sure a lot of Spidey fans loved TASM 2, my mom, dad and both my brothers loved it, critics like to pick apart everything.

Then explain why the critics love the great comic book movies like the TDK trilogy, The Winter Soldier, Days of Future Past, The Avengers etc?

Are you talking about your own opinion here or the Tomatometer? Because 65% would put it only 2% above SM3, and way below (24% for SM1 and 29% for SM2) the other two.

I am going to be optimistic and say that it gets a 83 because I think asm2 got unfarle cretisiz has I think it is a great movie and I don't get how any one can say it was a bad movie but at the same time after asm2 I am conviced that the movie is going to get unfarley criticized because it is not rami spider man so even if the movie deserved like a 90 it will only get like a 85.

I fell like a good amont of it was because a lot of reviews said it was a unesscly reboot and compared it to the rami movies. Plus a lot of the movie is to chessy even though sm 1-3 is way way more chessy then this movie. I really don't get why people think the movie is so chessy when sm 1-3 where way more and no one complaind about sm 1-3 being to chessy. A lot of the talk was about to much going on even though the story was pretty simple I just don't get what movie people saw.
