Smegger, you spelled definitely wrong.
You know what, it came up with the red line of wrong and so I did correct. So my browser is wrong lol
Smegger, you spelled definitely wrong.
You said defiantly instead of definitely. Defiantly is a word, it's just not the right word.
As long as you know he just disappears without the cops even noticing. Same thing of using an ability that Spider-Man doesn't have, correct?
Plus...Spidey most likely just went inside the exact same time the burglar unlocks the car. The is the only answer anyways since the thief had to use something to unlock the car.
Who cares if there was fingerprints on that gun and knife?
The cops only see the burglar falling down and then going up to see Spidey standing there; zero proof that shows the burglar fell from his own ignorance of tripping. I think you're joking in trying to defend that silly point. Peter will be slammed as guilty because there's no way he could be found not guilty.
But you have said TDK is still overrated, which is ridiculous to say. If you even say it's the best Batman film overall, how can it be overrated?
And also, you have said Spider-Man 3 is still great as its flaws, even telling me that I should look past those flaws since I look past some flaws on The Dark Knight. Totally different situation when S-M 3's flaws kills the movie.
What about guys like me who, before the reboot and a possible SM4, was desperate for a reboot?
TASM did not have a bad script but it wasn't perfect. IMO, the characters where definitely written better here, and I preferred the way the Ben death played out with it not being resolved in the first film.
There are things about the Raimi trilogy that I love.
Anyway, $340 million so far? Not a bad return so far I must say![]()

But honestly, I only have saw you defend the Raimi trilogy and spit on ASM. I am a new member, yes, but you're making a bad first impression.
Dragon, he said when the car was unlocked. You do realize that the device probably unlocked all of the doors?
I thought that regardless of the fact that I was wondering how Spidey got in the car, that it was a fun and great scene.
The fact that some folks are willing to overlook problems don't make them disappear. If you loved the scene, then great. But then understand when people love things you don't. Ridiculing Spidey 3 while praising a film that's also flawed doesn't put anyone on the side of the angels.

Dude, everybody has their likes and dislikes. I'm not trashing anyone for simply not liking the Raimi films. I will however call someone out about specific things like what sparked this debate. That Raimi's dialogue was ALL cheese, while TASM had all realistic powerful dialogue.
I'm sorry, it had a very bad script. It was uneven, the structure poor and the characters poorly developed. They aren't even true to the comics, but then they don't have to be. Most folks have just let alot of things go, believing that it'll be fixed in the sequels. No great film can stand on that.
There were things about TASM that I loved. Or at least really liked. Garfield (Given a great script he could be a great Spidey) Stone (same deal). The school fight- add that to the list of great Spidey action scenes. Other bits of Spidey action.
Just not bad. The poorest showing for a Spidey film so far.
I wind up spending so much time defending the Raimi films because so many here invest so much time into bashing them. And attacking anyone who doesn't love every aspect of TASM. RIM ditched these boards because he's was being pummelled for not returning the verdict that the majority here wanted.
Stop defeding them then. It's clear people LIKE ME think they're average with boring pacing and boring dialogue. You need to I think the script is fine. Not great but enjoyable. So if no great fiolm can stand on a bad script, explain Spiderman 2 which is seen as one of the great comic films?
So I would argue that Garfield was a great Spider-Man/Peter Parker. But in the end this is all opinion.
I also bought in to the dialogue more than I did the Raimi films. The conversation between Pete and Ben was brilliant IMO. I preferred that to those horrible speeches Aunt May gave to Pete. Never EVER liked them.
It's been what, 6 days since the world premiere and it's had just under 350 million WW, for a reboot soon after SM-3, with some of the reviews it's been getting (just for being a reboot)? As long as it makes the money for Sony to be happy and get the creative team back, they may give us the next big comic suquel (note, I said MAY).
On to RIM, for anyone who had a go at him for giving his opinion on it, which indicated he didn't like it (would love to read his review) should be ashamed of themselves.
Can you link me to RIMs review please, man?
Not sure if he's posted it. I PM'd him to see if he has. Looking forward to reading his thoughts on it.
No matter the explanation, Spidey was in the car before the car-jacker and didn't make a sound when opening the door. Completely impossible. It'd be like Spidey making his blood droplet be silent in Spidey 1.
Question, why is him leaping up to the ceiling silent? Regardless of the fact that he can crawl around silently (which is honestly implausible in itself), why did Norman not hear him land on the ceiling?
And if Peter started moving once the blood dropped, Norman should of saw him moving, and regardless of that, we should of saw Peter go out the window anyway.
The scene is just as implausible as the car-jacking scene.
To say ASM is mooore cheesy than the Raimi trilogy? that's your opinion but I disagree.
Obviously. Some people are just trying to find faults.
He got in through the sunroof.
Also if Norman has super hearing that he can hear a SINGLE drop of blood hit the floor, then how does he NOT hear Spidey crawling?
Look I'm not looking for a debate but your defense for your argument is just silly. Of course both movies have some cheese in it....it's Spider-Man!
Avengers was cheesy too, heck even some of the lines in BB and TDK were cheesy. To say ASM is mooore cheesy than the Raimi trilogy? that's your opinion but I disagree.
