I don't remember hearing that, I heard "You're not thinkin' straight, Doc!" though.
I just thought about this:
(I haven't seen the film but am just guessing from what I've read and heard)
What if they edited out the scene of Billy and Martha visiting Connors because they're saving that scene for ASM2? That is, if Connors will have a role in that one.
Spidey says this to the Lizard while hes on his back in the school hallway right before they are running on the ceiling.

It was being meta. They weren't talking about the events of the movie. They were talking about the movie. Look:"Do you think what happened to you was an accident. You're part of a bigger plan."
I just saw a TV Spot for the movie, and this was said. I'm so confused now.

As much as I can't stand Devin this was actually pretty eye opening on actually how much was changed http://badassdigest.com/2012/07/05/was-the-untold-story-cut-from-the-amazing-spider-man/
Only thing is you may have to ignore his constant references to his "inside scoops".

See, I figured he was talking about the death of his parents...they died in a plane crash orchestrated by Oscorp. That scene was supposed to reveal Dr. Ratha deactivated the security in the spider chamber to have Peter bitten for OsCorp's purposes, which I guess was cut due to fan backlash over the concept of Peter's powers not being a random accident.
AL: What was it that interested you in auditioning for The Amazing Spider Man?
ME: At first I didnt even know what film the role was for. The movie was only listed as a teen action film. I did a scene where my characters dad gets mad at me. After that we found out they were casting for The Amazing Spider Man.
AL: Can you tell us about your character?
ME: I play Billy Connors who is the son of Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard which is played by Rhys Ifans. I have about 3 scenes in the film and I am just your normal everyday kid whose dad is a lizard.
I believe it happened like this.
Peter appears at Dr. Connors' laboratory in the sewers, and finds Connors preparing to leave. Dr. Ratha shows up and shoots Connors, who is knocked unconscious. Peter somehow overpowers Ratha, and we come the dialogue "Do you think what happened to you was an accident? Do you have any idea what you really are?". Revelations of some nature are made. But before Dr. Ratha can spill out the truth, Connors heals his wounds and kills him. Peter shouts at Connors, who is mid-transformation. He says "If you want the truth about your parents, Peter... Come and get it", and escapes.
