I'm gonna pull a Sheldon Cooper here and ask in a good way or a bad way?

tbh I'm not bothered if he is in the Avengers, I don't think is should be as soon as the sequel though, he swings solo, but I liked him in New Avengers so ya know, and it will please the GA which means more money which means more Spider-man movies. So everyones happy in the end.

In a good way...Avengers was great and Joss Whedon is a master at his craft.

I'm not sure I agree with the Bane comparison. Bane is a much tougher opponent for Bats than Shocker to Spidey in his current form. However, should they choose to continue with this organic, cross-species type theme for the villains, I could see them making Shocker into a hybrid type villain with natural electric powers/properties and therefore making him a much tougher opponent.

As others have said, that would be pretty much Electro. Plus, there is a difference between Shocker and Electro. Shocker uses vibrations, not really electricity. I could see Shocker being some sort of muscle for another villain, but to turn him into a TDKR version of Bane may be too much to succeed.

Not a fan of repeating villians,especially since the previous trilogy is still fresh in people's mind,Venom would be repeated villian aswell but he hardly got screen time in SM3 so he should be used again.

It doesn't really matter what kind of screen time he was received, he would still be fresh in people's minds and at least Green Goblin is the only villain in Raimi's trilogy that be used and given a new look, whereas the looks for Doc Ock, Sandman and Venom were just fine, imo, and can't really be altered to look too differently. Green Goblin can. And as the main villain for Spidey, GG needs to be given an improvement rather than a villain that was clustered into an origin film.

I totally forgot about this, about the novelties in the international trailer, you remember the scene from the 4 min preview from a couple of days ago, at the end of it?! With Pete saying "it's too dangerous" talking about football I think.

Here we see him throwing the ball on the crossbar of the goalpost at like 100 meters away, the crossbar just bends, and the ball comes right up to Pete who catches it, then comes the line "too dangerous".

It looked like it was taking place within the highschool, so yep he tosses her out and catches her, it looked like he was showing her what he could do, she was smiling. She was falling fast, but it wasn't very high.

Given the character's history in that situation that sound pretty risky...
