So back to the speculation part of this forum...

why does everyone think is the reason that Peter's parent's leave? And how do you think they die? I assume their death was because of a plane crash like in the comics, or perhaps they were killed by Norman Osborn? He obviously has something to hide when he says "did you tell the boy about his parents?"... assuming it is Norman.

I wish Electro was in the film series as he would be the one Norman had kill Peter's parents. Or someone else like Shocker for instance. But some muscle like that should definitely be the answer to what happens to Richard and Mary with Norman wanting them dead. The real question is WHY as you also asked. I keep wondering what's the answer.

Hey guys I'm gonna bring up that early review one more time. I definitely think it's Mysterioman again. He just made an account on imdb saying he works for Sony and that he was using the other account as a cover up but that he's actually seen the film. I think he's just ********ting with everyone.

Yah, Mysterioman has all the time in the world it seems. Perhaps he doesn't have a job or a life period. How many usernames did he have on here and also on IMDB? You'd think he give it a break.

I was starting to wonder whether or not Peter's parents actually die in this movie. In the trailer Peter says "My parents left when I was very young." So do we know for certain that they're dead? I think it's a safe bet, but you never know...

The only people I'll trust about this movie before it's released are legit critics, RIM, Tim, and Goran.

Hmm, too bad Fox has the film rights to Kingpin because I feel like he could easily fit in here. But speaking of "Muscle," perhaps someone like Tombstone or Silvermane could be in on this with Norman?

Its possible that they are actually alive. If they are, then I hope it is not revealed until the last film.

Its funny, but I never heard of these critics until I came onto the Superherohype forums. Glad to have them review movies for us though :)

By critics I mean IGN, Ebert, JeremyJahns, etc.
I love JeremyJahns' reviews, he is the best!

Roger Ebert I am not the biggest fan of. I usually agree with Richard Roeper most of the time, but I respect both movie critics.

So it seems like the earliest legit review is the 15th?

Roeper! Yeah, I knew I was forgetting someone.

14th, that's when RIM is seeing it, Goran I think is the 20th, Tim is the 26th or 28th.

I think peter adapts that fighting style after watching luchadores wrestlers, I read that in an asm video game article

This is the website of my nearest IMAX, look what they are showing! Both TASM and TDKR! I knew they were gonna have TDKR, but when I looked two weeks ago, Spidey wasn't there. Now it is! I also just found out that my Dad is off the weekend that both TASM and TDKR come out so I will be able to watch both movies in IMAX! :D

Yeah I think they said that Peter learns how to fight from watching mexican wrestling videos on Youtube.

So, what bands would you guys like to hear on the soundtrack? I'd love to hear some Taking Back Sunday or Cage The Elephant.

I know that Coldplay has a song in this movie.

OH. MY. GOD.

I've never fully listened to Taking Back Sunday. I just recently discovered their true potential. I only knew the song "You're So Last Summer" because of my sister and my cousins. In 2007 we hung out in their garage in South Carolina and they looped the song over and over. Honestly, wasn't mad about it. It's a great song!

But honestly their best song is "Cute (Without the e) acoustic version". That song will never get old for me!

Anyways, sorry for the digression. Who would I like to hear on the Amazing Spider-Man soundtrack? I don't really know. That's a good question! I'll give it some thought before answering.

Given the fact that Marc Webb was really a music video director, I'm sure he will choose the best songs that fit in this movie!

He did beautiful work in (500) Days of Summer. I mean, The Smiths!? Great freakin' taste Webb. :hrt:
