and the horros sounds sound like the sound from metal gear solid 1 when Snake gets discovered by one of his enemies...

What's even funnier to me, is his hand gesture as he says itt: That pointing the finger down completely UNcomprehending, while speaking the line, as if he actually wanted to say, "I don't believe what I'm hearing, you dumb blond! I giant Lizard is coming to **** you up, and you're gonna hang around!? You braindead, or just been sniffing too much hairspray!!!"

im really looking forwards to this film, i have faith in webb and i can see a big difference between this and raimis films, and i wasnt a big fan of the past 3 films

glad to see gwen used as a brave and smart women figure rather then a hold to ransom girl

Of course they've had a good say...they're producing the film.

People need to get off the Sony hate wagon....the blame for any bad elements of the previous series do not rest solely on their shoulders.

As for the clip, I think it was awesome. Kinda funny seeing Spidey on a cell phone on the sidewalk...wonder what the circumstances for that are?

Lizard gave a great scare too...I'm going to be watching for people's reactions in theatres.

Watched that clip again, and I got a very Alien/Aliens vibe from it, with the way the lab was lit and the female countdown voice.

Also, I noticed that Gwen seems to be wearing an outfit very close to what her comicbook counterpart traditionally wears.

imagine that happening when Peter droppes the phone..swings towards Oscorp...enters the building and the Lizard hears the sound of Peter yelling "DR CONNORS...GWEN" and the Lizard's head pops up and that sound plays...I would literally fall of my seat

I can't stand those rumors that SONY executives hate the Amazing Spider-Man.

It's not just that. It's the whole notion of "If Sony has creative say, this movie will be bad."

I associate this with stigma over SM3...somehow there's this whole hullabaloo that Sony was responsible for the shortcomings of that film, when that wasn't really the case at all. Sony has taken really good care of the SM franchise for the most part...if there are nitpicks or issues with the film, look at the creative team as a whole...don't just throw blame on the studio.

I blame Avi Arad for SM3 more than the studio. That team as a whole had great input with the first two films.
