And that's a good thing.Alberta trailer classification. It's never been wrong. Ever.

yeah, that's what's most important. Who cares if it's a good movie, we just want it to make more money so we can look down on the other, lesser nerds.
people seriously need to stop trying to turn this crap into a competition.
that could be subjective, or it depends on what you mean by flawed.Just being realistic, sunshine. Even the best films have flaws.
TDKR will be a great movie.
TASM will also be a great movie.
That's it. This "TDKR WILL PWN TASM" crap got old weeks ago.

i have seriously got bored of spiderman they should use some other heroes

It's certainly true that TDKR may suck. But what have you seen that would indicate TDKR as a bad movie? Nothing. TDKR's anticipation is due to the fact that Begins and TDK were so hugely successful. TASM does not have the same kind of reference. TDKR is the most anticipated movie for next summer based on the fact that it is the end of a trilogy that so far has pointed to being another great addition. There's nothing to prove otherwise.
I am a Spider-man fan at heart and honestly I don't find Batman nearly as interesting. However, Bats has had great success with Nolan's films and it is not fanboyism to say that the next movie will be epic.
So what ! That movie might suck for all you know. You havent seen a thing from Spiderman except pics and a teaser, and TDKR had two trailers. Its just the fanboys that are hyping this up to be the god amoung movies. You honestly have no idea whats going to happen until the movie comes out. I remember we said Raimi could do no wrong and that Spiderman 3 will be the greatest superhero film of all time. Looked what happened. We dont know if TDKR will be epic we just have to wait and see.
t:yeah even TDK had its flaws
*leaves thread hastily*

Agreed. Though I do feel that TDKR is at great risk of seeming like a structural rehash of TDK.
Prologue introducing the villain? I mean come on. Plus, I personally think the TDK was better because the Joker wasn't revealed as being one of the thugs until the end.

No, this is true, and as a Batman and Nolan fan, I can admit this. I wish there were some more explanation about the deaths Harvey committed.
t:It seems to be mostly TDKR vs The Avengers.
TASM is on the sidelines.
HopefullyTDKR will be a great movie.

Hazzah!
As for the Spider-Man 2 comparisons, I honestly think this might be better. Spider-Man 2 has not aged well for me. I mean, when it came out I thought it was the best comic book movie ever made, but watching now I can see the signs that point to what Spider-Man 3 became. I still love that Doc Ock hospital scene, though. So damn good.

That scene was good but it kinda cliche.

VFX Supervisor, Jerome Chen, describes working on The Amazing Spider-Man with our team: The creation of the Spider-Man film experience is an inherent part of Imageworks artistic pedigree, so it's an incredible advantage to tap into the passion and experience of all the artists' here as we undertake Marc Webb's new telling of Peter Parker's story.
The second I see RIM's posted in the news thread, I get my ass in here like a flash of lightening.
And cool, thanks for that.![]()

Digital Domain & Double Negative while being smaller are a lot better for example. I've actually liked Imageworks stuff on the Spidey films definitely one of their better endeavors but they really are lagging behind ILM and WETA.My problem with Imageworks is that they're stuck at a level it's not able to crack that glass ceiling where ILM and WETA hang out.
Even with the lesser CGI companies, if it doesn't look photorealistc that's fine as long as the animation has real weight and physics to them.
But Sony Imageworks fails on both levels; Green Lantern's CGI was generally awful or just average. They're stuck in the early 2000's. I hope that Webb is able to push them in the right direction.
