I know and I'm saying in the 2nd teaser where they showed that same shot of the POV where he's supposedly jumping over the gap to the other building you don't see his legs. But in the first teaser in the end where they do the POV scene you can clearly see his feet. The Scene is different in the 2nd trailer. Than the original POV scene in the first.

I wouldn't really call the second trailer a teaser. It showed pretty much everything. The first one though? Yep. Definitely a teaser trailer.

That shot is exactly the same in both trailers apart from lighting/colouring. You see his legs when he's just about to land. The shot in the second trailer is taken from the part when he just takes off... which is when you don't see his legs.

I think Peter may have taken the casing off to reload the webshooters.

Thats not how it works. We already know how he reloads from watching ther trailer. He sticks a cartidge in the the device like in the comics. The gears are exposed but they've nothing to do with the reload.

I'm starting to believe Peter hides the webshooters in his wristwatch thus the gears. I don't think the gears are what shoot out the web.

I have to say I was doubtful if this movie would be any good, but I saw the new trailer and I think I'll go see it for sure. I know it's more faithful to the true origins, and the Lizard looks awesome. I don't know if it will be better than SM2, but I had really doubted it would have any merit at all.

I never noticed it until the ign rewind theatre pointed it out but I really like how there is a puff of smoke everytime he uses his webshooters. A sweet little touch to the mechanics of it.

Haha. That is pretty neat. Hopefully it's sort of a progress thing that occurs throughout the series. Like Peter improving his costume & his gadgets. Hopefully we could see the Spider-Tracers & the big Spider-Man logo light in sequels.

I have a question for everyone here. If they made Spidey's suit red and black instead of red and blue, would that upset you? I remember reading on the "If Venom is redone, this is how he should look" thread that Spider-man's suit was originally black but the artists shaded it to make it look blue, like they did with Venom.

Who is making Spider graffitii around NY, in the second trailer we see peter looking at it and smiling a bit, which means that he is not bothered by it but maybe even likes it, so who could be doing that ?

I really don't want the suit to "evolve" really. Maybe the webshooters with a better design in the sequel, but I am leaning more into the side that thinks the suit should stay the way it is, but maybe with a few, and only minor, changes such as some new improvement on the shoes, or perhaps the gloves....maybe he can use thicker padding on his feet and fingers if he grows in his abilities with clinging unto surfaces.

But the spider-tracers and logo lights? Those might be cool, although it'll make sense to scrape the light and just bring in the tracers.

I think it's something to do with this:

Says there's a movement, and I bet it is these people who are doing the graffiti.

Or as Troy said, he could start doing them before he knows the lesson of responsibility and these people carry it on.

Well, I think it's both. There's definitely a movement of some sort, because a while ago there was a casting call for young graffiti artists.

It would appear that those tagging his symbol all over the city are those that support his 'vigilante' cause. Capt Stacy calls for an arrest of Spidey so I'm sure it's a split deal where you have those behind the cops saying "yeah let's get 'em," and of course those that appreciate what he's doing.

And Batman only had a lockpick and a flashlight as his main tools, so what's your point? Black and red doesn't resemble Spider-Man at all.

And....I just hate the Ultimate comics in general, and I've told you this before. It's just a way to grab a younger audience while they destroyed most of the villains except for pre-Magneto Doc Ock. And then they kill off Peter Parker, the only Spider-Man of this time, to bring in Miles Morales who looks like he's nine. And the suit itself even looks like crap. It looks like a symbiote suit but with red added to it.

Lizard isn't purple in the Ultimate

Because Ultimate did such a spectacular job with their Clone Saga, right?

It came out years after publishing USM 001, and it actually did a surprisingly good job, no self pity drama from Peter, no mixed up identities and Peter thinking he's the clone, not overly elasticated and published in 4 titles at once.
Not saying the story is flawless, but it's great

I love how they handled him as an alternate reality version, not adapting the source material and trying to be strictly close and modernized, the writer got creative and delivered a cool job with Kraven
