Which issue of the 600+ original Spiderman comics should a newbie start from. Not a newbie to comics or Spiderman just a newbie to the original line of comics

Thanks Guys

Friends dont let friends post drunk.. this thread brought to you by the Letter R... made for my friend Wild Pegasus....

...:csad: I.. I just can't answer this.

Fantastic, then please don't. Some of us don't have the time to go through every issue from the begging or the desire to put so much time into finding all those old issues...comicboy. Keep your useless post to yourself if it doesn't contribute anything.

What more recent comic would be another good starting point for a newbie to the series.

Someone has to do this....

If you are already familiar with Spidey...then you can start from $544, part 1 of the One More Day, Spidey's big event of the year which will change his status quo, and probably

The last time we see MJ as Peter's wife

Or you can start with ASM #546, coming soon this December and three issues per month. It's Brand New Day and features Spidey in his new status quo.

If you like Peter and MJ together though, you better read the back issues or other continuity such as Ultimate.

....This is sad :csad:

Your either have a good judgement of character (since this guy only has one post) or you already know him :hyper:

To answer the question, Id have to go with One More Day, cuz apparently the first issue recaps previous events from back in black and i think civil war a lil bit.

As said, You can start with One More Day. It starts with Amazing Spider-Man #544, and you can follow from ther. Or start at Amazing spider-man #546, Brand new day, in december. I would say Brand new day is a perfect jumping on point for new fans.
