Who would people like to see as the main villain in ASM3? Personally I would love to see Mysterio or Vulture.

i probably will see it again, only because my dad hasnt seen it yet. i had a day off yesterday and just thought sod it and went. did feel a little creepy going to a cmb on my own though got a few strange looks from the cinema staff lol

but i doubt my intial reaction will change i'll most likely spend the second viewing watching out for points others have made here

Ah don't worry about that , I go to the Cinema by myself most of time if its during the day or a early showing. It can help for a better experience. I thought the same at first though lol. Regarding the second showing thats what i will be looking out for aswell.

I go to the movies by myself alot at first it was a crazy experience but I got used to it

Thank you for everyone's opinions for those who liked it and those who didn't

You're kidding! You've had death threats before?

yeah i posted on a website for the old toyline he-man, sadly a board that has majorly went down hill( only positive views a vibes will be allowed type thing)

so before that i was one of the posters saying i wasnt collecting the current toyline because i didnt like the way it handled or how the company treated its customers so when i posted a photo of the broken head of a he-man toy on my photo of the day tumblr, i got an anonymous e-mail to my personal address(not the one used for the boards, or the tumblr my personal business one) telling me

that though they can not speak officially for the boards they were expressing a general viewpoint, that i can take my opinion shove and hoped that myself, my family and my cherry picked masters collection can die slowly in a fire

dont ya just love fanboys :D

Maybe you should rewatch it. I've read in a lot of reviews that the movie did have heart.

That's what I'm thinking.

I don't know why, but I felt a little down at the premiere, and being a sneak-premiere, the theatre wasn't even full. The mood in there wasn't really what I'd hoped for. At all.

I'm thinking that might've had something to do with my experience with the movie. I definitely have to rewatch it, yes.

For some reason i just engage more when im in a half empty cinema, no one is in my personal space either but im weird anyway so it's cool.

I remember you from that forum. That's really sad to hear dude, and very creepy that you got your personal e-mail. Hope that was the only instance of that sort of thing for you.

Seven's review.

Seven made better use of music than the movie did LOL. Nice review.

Sorry you had through that. Heck, if you think that was bad check out the sonic fanbase

I enjoyed it but at the same time felt a little deflated after it. It really is the same deal as with TASM: a passable watch that is elevated by the two central performances. With the first one I was willing to overlook any flaws in storytelling as I felt it was bogged down by having to retell the origin. But there's no such excuse this time around and the flatness in plot was very disappointing.

Dehaan was excellent until the transformation. Dehaan becoming the Goblin in this one actually annoyed me as other than one obvious deed, the Goblin had nothing to do. It was simply tact on in my opinion to simply get something big out of the way in this film.

Zimmer's score was excellent and I actually enjoyed it more than his MOS score. Really simple but inspiring, while it touched the right nerves emotionally when it had to.

As said already, Stone and Garfield are just a joy to watch together. I would say Stone's Gwen steals the show if not for Garfield's infectious turn when the suit is on.

All in all it's very much a good watch, but one that just feels like another missed opportunity.

3/5

I'm seeing this film for the third time tomorrow. 2'nd watch was even better than the first! By the way. Dane DeHaan completely KILLS it as Harry as well!! I think he is a much more powerful villain than Electro. Harry worked as a character, form beginning to end. Max only worked half the time in my opinion.

I've been thinking about seeing the film a 2nd time.

How did you like the film the second time you saw it, compared to the first time?

Wow, strange looks from the staff for going to the cinema on your own? I suggest you find a better one, absolutely nothing wrong with heading to the cinema on your own.

Well at least it's a once off. Othewise I would have advised calling the police.

No, I post under the username Masamune. I don't post much these days, more of a lurker. Though I still chat to some friends on the site.

At least you liked it more than MOS, lol. That's something. Rating?

Following up from what I said, these are my views after the IMAX 3D showing...

It was nothing short of amazing. This is coming from a guy who was disappointed with Gravity in IMAX 3D. The web slinging was nothing short of the best cinematic experience I've ever had. It was exhillirating and without a doubt the highlight of the show. THAT scene late on was also incredible. The sound you hear echoed around the place and everyone in the screen was silent. The dubstep Electro shiz also worked much better in IMAX, every little sound from the songs fitting perfectly, and when he releases the bolts it is a great sound to hear.

If you can, go see it in IMAX 3D. I mean it. You won't regret it. I don't care if it's not a natural IMAX film, the sound is worth it alone, and the 3D works wonders when swinging. They deserve every bit of money I give to them and I might see it one last time within the month just to get one final view on the film.

I go to the cinema on my on all the time.

Sitting in the dark watching a screen is a shared experience, but not a social one (atleast in the UK, where everyone is generally silent throughout except to laugh). It's why going to the cinema is a bad idea for a first date - you are not interacting with each other, just watching the film. It's like watching TV. Absolutely no reason why you should do it with other people.

i normally wouldn't use that particular one, £16 for my ticket and sweets :wow:

Who would people like to see as the main villain in ASM3? Personally I would love to see Mysterio or Vulture.

The Vulture would be cool - he will surely show up in the Sinister Six. You know the Vulture was almost in Spider-Man 3 (Ben Kingsley was lined up for it) and Spider-Man 4 (John Malkovich)?

As for Mysterio, how would he work in the modern day? I think it would be incredibly tough to convince audiences that everything he does is special effects. You'd have to constantly explain everything. "Those aliens you were fighting were robots, Spider-Man!" I just can't see it working.

It seems that [BLACKOUT]Harry and Norman[/BLACKOUT] will be the main villains in the third movie. I imagine it will be the power struggle between the two, with them both fighting Spidey at the climax before Harry changes his mind and sacrifices himself to save Peter.
