I saw that. Not even a check it out on blu ray. The review was harsh in harsh in the extreme. Chris Stuckman's review was more fair.

I think given his complaints he went quite easy on the movie. I'd agree with most of his complaints but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would so I rated it higher. But for every scene in the movie I loved, there was a scene that annoyed me.

He gave the first one a "Buy it on BluRay" rating along with MOS... Thought this one would clear that mark at least, guess not lol.

Nolan's Batman films are all Awesometacular in his eyes, kind of biased I think. I agree with BB and TDK but definitely not TDKR, he pulled way too hard for that movie. Oh well, still love him.

A lot of people thought TDKR was awesometacular. Bias or not.

He is sort of a fanboy when it comes to anything Nolan or MCU related, but that's just how it is. Still love the guy even though I'm disappointed with his review. I agree with him maybe 85-90% of the time, but I noticed that I am starting to disagree with him more and more as time goes on.

I noticed Max calling through at the beginning of the film to a radio station, sharing his love for Spidey. Nice little background touch. Also funny is his chat with Gwen in the elevator, saying he had celebrities and VIPs at his birthday party.

Noticing Gwen was a pretty girl, fixing his combover XD. Also saying how she needs to be on the invite list lol.

Yup, I watch all his reviews. I'll usually watch a movie before seeing his review and compare what I thought of it using his rating system. We're usually pretty level when it comes to CBM with the exception of a few.

"Awesometacular!"
"Buy it on BluRay."
"Good time, no alcohol required."
"Good time, if you're drunk."
"Not going to remember it in t-minus 1 day/a few hours... Yup, already forgot."
"Dogs**t"

Those are the "main" ratings he uses. TASM got a "Buy it on BluRay" while TASM 2 got a "Good time, no alcohol required."

He gave Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 a Nothing. :funny:

I think that's his worst rating.

There is a difference between acknowledging a movie is better but enjoying someone more. So maybe he enjoyed ASM2 more but thought ASM1 is a better movie.

An example for me is Alien and Aliens. I acknowledge Alien is a better movie but enjoy Aliens more.

nope, in later videos he said he didn´t like TASM as much as the first time he saw it,
about Jeremy, have anyone notice that people who liked really TASM are liking this one less and some of the people who didn´t like it as much are liking this one better?

I suppose... Still a little weird.

Whether a movie is a "good movie" or not, is still completely subjective, so to "like" a movie and think a movie is "good", should still be the same thing.

You people are getting so caught up in technicalities, its hilarious lol I hope you're this consistent with it in your everyday lives.

I wouldn't call film (or any artform) completely subjective, hence the term technical quality, where a film can be judged on how well written the script is, the quality of the performances, the skill of the director, the composers ability to compliment the scenes with the right sounds, the editors ability to put the pieces together, etc. There are things about each of those aspects as well as countless other things that can be objectively good of bad (admittedly, some people exaggerate just how much is objective and try to shove opinions down throats instead of facts). For example I love the Godzilla movies, but with a few exceptions I can't really praise the movies on a technical level beyond their miniatures and some cool effects now and then.

I can definitely see where you're coming from. Both music (for instance) and film can be well produced.

I found Man of Steel pretty amazing to both look at and listen to, but I just couldn't bring myself to consider it a "good" movie.

I stand by my opinion: a movie being "good" is subjective.

But again, don't get me wrong; I totally see what you mean.

That was pretty far from "harsh to the extreme", come on now. Although I definitely like 2 better than 1, I thought this was a cooler film. It's more of its own thing. Just based on that merit alone I think it deserves to be rated higher.

Movies are subjective because you can place more weight to certain things than others;
* Characters
* Pacing
* Script
* Editing
* Cinematography
* Humor
* Drama

Whatever you lean towards a movie is going to score higher if it hits the beats you like. As an example, my Mrs doesn't like the Nolan Batman movies because she thinks they take themselves too seriously but loved ASM2

Gotcha, man. Looks like we're on the same page. :yay:

Watch out guys, MovieBob says it's worse than Batman&Robin.

I've heard all sorts of things for a movie that i've been anticipating for about two years, so i guess this is another critique to add in the bunch.

Well, he believes the Last Airbender was any good :P

If he wants to hate it, oh well. It's like MrTardisReviews.

In the montage of Spidey saving people at the beginning, I like the one of Peter in his room holding onto a big fish. I wonder what that was about? :hehe:
