Ok this thread is about civility? Hmm i will have to think out a very good post. Its hard to be civil sometimes. People always want to be right. I know I do and when I feel someone steps on my toes when i right i tend to be a little less civil. I guess thats my short thought of the day.

As far as I know GAM is all for fun. I have never known it to be a gang and if it is then I am not tough enough to be in it. I have never had anybody suck up to me "to be in with GAM". I have never had a MOD or anybody else complain about it besides you Villa. Not sure why it upsets you, I don't remember having any problems with you. Maybe once? Not sure.

That is part of the problem, you're right. If they don't want to then they won't but I think the gap has to be bridged. It shouldn't be black and white.

He's 15,i just read through his thread that is now closed that i'd missed and i think he really made a bad error there starting it off with the line he did

Gods Among Men,it's just a group idea that started as something of a bit of fun to try and make the boards better,didn't work as you can see,now that i am also shadaloo i have my fingers in all the power pies

I think the entire thread should've never been made. You don't make a thread to tell people "I'm right, you're wrong". If he wanted to make a "Singer fans unite" thread or something, fine...but you just don't make a thread saying "Why won't you accept my opinion"...however considering his age and the language barrier, he may not have been trying to say that.

Since your the by default " against" guy on the board since some of the other guys got themselves banned, your the expert on the topic, eh?

Theres no mob rule, theres no conspiracies, your opinion simply falls into the minority in the well of greater expectations. Stop trying to martyr yourself, and accept that some people actually still anticipate that the film could be really really good.

But I'll say this in the same breath, this movie hasn't become an Uber-great film event. Just because your utterly convinced it great without seeing it doesn't mean that it will be. Your setting yourself up for a big disappointment.

I think there is a diffrernce between Matt and some of the ppl that oppose him,certain ones are so overzealous that if you breath a word of negatvity they are all over you with hyperbolic condescending posts
One of the main offenders got banned for disgusting acts in the SV forums so maybe things will settle but there is still a nucleous that lack the skill that Matt has in delivering his view and basically attack anyone saying SR may not be good

I can tolorate opinions as much as anyone else. But tolorate doesn't mean accept. Just because ALOT of people dont agree with you doesn't mean they are out to get you, it's just that you feel different. When you choose to stay put with that unpopuler opinion, dont exspect anyone to adapt to you so they dont hurt your feelings. Especially when you consecutively bring in negative points and comments to a somewhat upbeat atmosphere.

Not being mean, or asking for a divide, just being realistic.
