Well looks like time we have a place for Off Topic Discussion.... Loungers have at THEE[/Thor]

*enters lounge

I was expecting a tavern, but that'll do. :oldrazz:

Asgardian Lounge? Such a generic name. We should have called this place The Great Feasting Halls of Valhalla! :woot:

Wow. That's exactly how an Asgardian Lounge should be. Only the Valkyries are missing.

So, you guys enjoying the current Thor comics? I sure am. Looking foward to the future of it.

I'm enjoying it immensely. It's got a very broad scope, which is my favorite thing about it. It feels like Thor-as-Shakespeare. Everything seems more epic. :)

Damn, Vartha, you've got both the helmet and the hammer they released a while ago? Sweet.

Yeah the helmet was 39 bucks WITH the Muscle-Shirt costume, separately the helmet was 80 bucks, go figure.
I actually got the Mjolnir prop for X-mas the year Factory X put it out. My best friends up north got it for me. lol

I'm LOVING all this Thor, but, it's getting a bit hard to keep up. lol so many books so little money.

Yea im loving Thor right now... its on my top 3 series with Cap and Deadpool.

Yeah, I'm loving Thor as well. Easily my favourite book from my foray into Marvel. Though the killer is that now I'm hooked, and now must go through the agony of Thor basically being a bi-monthly book. :cmad:

I went back and read Ages of Thunder. I was gonna pick up a volume of Thor Visionaries: Walt Simonson, but it had the ridiculous price tag of 20 pounds, which is like... 300 dollars.

What about Blood Oath? I saw that was the only Thor graphic novel to make Wizard's top 100 list recently. How's that?

Blood Oath is really, really fun. Mike Oeming and Scott Kolins basically set out to make a wacky classic Thor adventure that both pokes fun at and fondly reminisces on early Thor comics. It's set way back when Thor and Blake were still merged the first time around and it features the Warriors Three, Hercules, and cameos from various other Marvel pantheons. I'd definitely recommend it if you want a fun Thor story.

By the looks of things, Vartha even has a pail ready in bottom corner of his second picture. You never can be too careful for those Viking loungers that overindulge themselves. :funny:

I was jealous of Vartha's bar, so I felt like showing this picture in which you all can see some Valkyries with me, and, you know, if Thor had a dog, it would be just like mine. Ladies and gents, I give you Bono!

Here, I pictured him resting after a fierce battle against some frost giants. At his side, you can see a very rare beast: the Asgardian Panther!

What about you, loungers? Do you happen to have any kind of mythological beast living in your backyard? Any pics? :oldrazz:

Not many people catch that pail. :D Experiance at Renaissance faires and frequenting bars just told me "BE PREPARED" :D

MYTH? That looks like Lockjaw. lol

Here are the last three Dogs my ex and I owned.

Scarlet. died of cancer in her left rear leg. Scarlet literally helped my ex and I raise our kids. She would allow the kids to grab onto her coat and raise themselves up when they were learning to walk!

Nemo, a Wolf/Husky, we adopted him from his original owner who had a Sled team of Wolf husky mixes. Most of the rest of the team were younger and the wolf in them instinctively made them attack Nemo because he was older and slowed the "PACK" down. He passed on of old age 2 years ago at 17.

Nemo and Sparky. Sparky was another adopted pet. We named him that because he looks like the cartoon Character Sparky the Firedog back in the 70's and also because he wasn't the brightest of animals we've owned. lol

I've had a Cocker Spaniel named Rusty, a COYOTE/Border Collie named Cleo, a Doberman shepard name Anthony (Chicago's Bozo the clown raised the breed, we bought him for 15 bucks from Bozo lol) another Shepard, Roxanne(who was a WHITE breed and acted very Blond lol) a Black Lab named Rambo was protective of not only us but our neighbors, a Wire hair/Fox Terrier named Snoopy, and four cats, one who died just before Nemo named Spike he had 3 strokes and lived to be 17! He brought home Birds and would lay them on the front step of the house when My EX was preggers with our kids! lol
