Why are you posting your current post total along with each message in this thread?

Because we "fear" him. or some such. That was his response to me once. That we fear him and his ideas/beliefs. So really, how can you begin to, and why would you even want to understand someone with such a self image?

Huh... I only have 700 posts in almost 5 years here. I don't think high post counts and avatars are as rewarding as he thinks...

Or are they? They are, aren't they? Tell me the truth!

Really? He just outright stated that? Ok, but he's also the type to just roll in and raise the temperature of the room on purpose, cuz he's not just posting inane banter. He seems to go out of his way to be... well he seems to just want to be "THAT" guy all day, everyday. Seems his goal and his confrontational, no nothing attitude are dovetailing nicely.

*PS this was edited because you know what... Originally I felt it went too far. But then again... I try to be self aware of how I come off to others.

FYI I have a very good friend who lives right in my neighborhood who self identifies as a Born Again Christian. He is truly a great friend to me, so the suggestion that it's just your beliefs that single you out ring especially hollow to my spent 10 years in Catholic School ears. You go out of your way to be "THAT" guy as a poster here.

My favorite are the the atheists that want to impress you with their academic credentials.

"I spent 12 years in a Christian school,4 years in seminary,8 years in Bible college and roomed with the Pope's brother for 2 years,so I KNOW what I'm talking about!"

Either they slept through all that education or they're proving just how dense they are.

Apparently we use our years of study and knowledge to toot our own horn and to show the other kids how cooool we are. I guess the scholars who study theology of the world devoted their lives to that work so they could "impress" all the christians of the world.

The more you are trying to sound flip, yet wise the more you accomplish neither. The defensiveness and passive agressive to just full on agressive confrontational in all your posts is what the other posters and myself find vexing about you. As a for instance that claim about me fearing you and or your beliefs, which, yeah can come off as strange at best or paranoid at worst, or bringing up your gun ownership here because... Well we can't truly know why because it was brought up by you and no one else. I maybe am thinking it's because you think there are no Atheists that are passionate about the second Amendment? Again, who knows because your posts don't make ammuch sense betond the obvious sense of "victimhood" which, yeah is pretty apparent when an adult makes a claim of "dog piling" on a discussion forum. I would genuinely appeal to you that you start from the beginning regarding this issue on Jordan Horner, patrols in which Horner and others tell people to leave the area when those people do not conform to Sharia Law irregardless of if those people are even Muslim, and anti-social behaviour orders.

So far, your posts haven't made sense in the context of the matter and I would suggest that you start again, and explain yourself in a concise and clear manner.

When you say that the application of the ASBO in this instance is anti-religion, that the UK are being thought police, is the implication that religious groups should be allowed to patrol the streets with mega phones, ordering people to leave the area when those individuals are drinking, gay, women dressed in a manner they disagree with, etc?

Answer that question, don't obfuscate.

Up to this point, I've been wondering if you're actually just someone pretending to be a fundamentalist for kicks, a deliberate troll, you haven't been presenting yourself very well at all.

Fyi, the correct spelling is “bated breath.” Bate (a tad archaic nowadays) means “reduce” or “restrain” - and it’s the root of abate/abatement (“to make weaker”). So “bated breath” means that breathing is reduced (or stopped) because of fear, excitement, anticipation, etc.

Is this guy even worth having on here? I've looked through his posts before and not a single one was anywhere in the superhero or comic book sections of this site. He only ever posted in the community section.

I don't know what his end game is, but it sounds like he wants a big post count and a forum to spread his conspiracy theories and religious rants.
