OMG.

Really?

Is this the age we live in? Good grief.

A major network participating in indoctrination. Nice.

I was playing Assassin's Creed 2 and the atheism is strong in that game. Some good stuff.

Well, I'm glad it's strong somewhere because it's not strong with Fox.:cmad:

Considering you get to beat up the Pope it's quite entertaining.

There are some cool quotes too:

"And so here there was an attempt to categorize, study, explain, and understand the way things work – even if it was flawed. But no more. Now we are asked to succumb to a far more simplified explanation. How naive to believe there might be a single answer to every question. Every mystery. That there exists a lone divine light which rules over all. They say it is a light that brings truth and love. I say it is a light that blinds us – and forces us to stumble about in ignorance.

I long for the day when men turn away from invisible monsters and once more embrace a more rational view of the world. But these new religions are so convenient – and promise such terrible punishment should one reject them – I worry that fear shall keep us stuck to what is surely the greatest lie ever told."

But... They got halberds, and spears, and pikes? :word:

But do they have this?

But surely by doing this they have saved a few souls from the fires of hell and damnation...the only end for those who follow in the darkness of that godless heathen, Darwin!

I just overheard a conversation between my dad and his girlfriend. She mentioned Hive Colony Collapse Disorder and she read him an email from a friend of hers.

It said that supposedly humans cant live without bees, because they pollinate our food. Then she went on to say that humans evolved 500,000 years ago while bees evolved 70 million years ago. Bees need flowering plants and the plants need the bees. But flowering plants evolved 150 million years ago, so the plants should have died out before the bees ever evolved. They agreed that that was so clever.

I managed to avoid walking into the room to tell them that there were other insects that pollinated plants before bees evolved. It was hard.

Bees are responsible for a bunch of it so it's not a they die/we die scenario but it would be a bad thing.

Granted it will probably backfire, and they will kill us all, but can't we like genetically engineer bees to be tougher?

Crossbreeding bees for the purpose of making them hardier was what gave us the "killer bees", or Africanized honey bee. So your first thought has some validity.

That's a smidge offensive... :whatever:

Actually the Killer bees are going strong and migrating like crazy. Unfortunatly they aren't doing what the normal bees do and they're kinda psycho.

It's all the Wu-tang the Killer Bees listen too. It's somehow making them immune. :wow: :word:
