The Avengers would make a killer CGI movie

With today's technology, a concept like the Avengers would be ridiculously good if done completely CGI .......could you imagine it ala Beowulf? I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Welcome to the boards, and yes, I certainly hope it is just you!

Lets just wait for 2011 or 2012, we've seen them done to death in comics and cartoons, we need our live action Avengers, the movies are all set within the same universe, the marvel universe, and the movies should all feel like they are part of that same coherent universe..

If you start changing the visual styles between movies... that coherence will be lost, and with the actors they will be getting they don't need to be spending the extra cash on 100% cgi.

The reason I mentioned CGI is because the story wouldn't be limited by who they could hire to play the part. Take for example the last X-Men. It was a hodge-podge of X-Men characters, most of which fatally underdeveloped. Some of that has to do with the screen writer, some of it has to do with the people playing the part. Not to mention in a CGI environment, a limitless Marvel universe could truly play out and you wouldn't have to worry about the meshing of CGI with live action for believeability purposes.

Trust me, I'm not some CGI nutt. I just think that with the vast array of characters, you could make one tour-de-force rumble going all CGI.

That's cool, but it would be better as a DTV. Was that the same IM voice as Ultimate Avengers? The end scene where Hulk was standing behind IM totally got me stoked for Avengers.

Beowulf wasn't that good... or that good looking. But along the lines of Kung Fu Panda... yeah, Avengers would be rediculously good.

But there's no way it could be as satisfying as a 5-live-action-movie crossover. No way. Even though the "live action" movie would be filled with CGI anyway, there's no way an all-CGI movie could compare to that 'feeling.'
