Me too, I have high hopes for it - if we get that cliffhanger at the end of Superman/Batman, I wonder if we will see his take on Flash for a sec.

It's based off my personal favourite Batman/Superman arc and despite the comic arc being called "Supergirl" at it's heart it's actually a Trinity film as Wonder Woman is a huge part of the story.

The cartoon adaptation is one of the closest that WB has done not including Year One and Dark Knight Returns.

Great action, great voice acting from the original Timmverse 3 and a good story with Darkseid as the villain and a cameo from Doomsday(s).

I haven't seen it. Shazam doesn't interest me that much to be honest.

Garret Hedlund for Barry/Flash

he was actually one of my top 5 picks to play Bruce/Batman but i think he would make a great Flash

hell, i could even see him as Aquaman as well

Hedlund would be perfect casting, IMO. Never saw him as right for Batman, but Flash? Oh hell yeah.

The Superman/Shazam flick is SICK!. It's cool how they tied Superman into it. If you life seeing Supes deal with magic then you'll like it. Both guys are awsome in that film and Black Adam is out for serious revenge lol. My only complaint is that it nearly isnt long enough lol.

I thought this suit looked good, too bad they didn't keep it more like this in the movie, even though I never "got" the things on the shoulders - that always looked bad to me.

His face though...looks funny in that mask there. Something about it I can't quite put my finger on...

I always liked the Supes/Shazam paring/VS in the comics...particularly the VS, I just hate it when they have some character kicking Superman's ass just to show how "cool" they are when something like that would never really happen in the first place...that was all I was worried about with the First Thunder DVD.

That said though I'd definitely like to check it out, I can't believe I don't have that or Apocalypse yet.

I love the cliffhanger idea WB's is supposedly contemplating. If executed well like The Dark Knight or like Inception style leaving audiences wanting more....than mission accomplished.

WB's should just go ahead of shoot BvsS and JL back to back. They have done it before with the LOR's/Hobbit and Harry Potter films, so they should not have any reservations about doing it for these two DC films just as long as the stories/scripts are good to go.

I agree. I don't see why this couldn't be done with their DC properties, but I'll just take what I can get either way at this point.

So Hedlund is apparently WB's top choice to play Hook, the lead in that Pan movie that took Batman/Superman's release date.

I have precisely zero interest in that film, but if WB is that high on Garrett, then perhaps they'll keep him in mind for the Flash?

This is a long thread, and I haven't gone through it so if I'm bringing up something that's already been said, I apologize.

Anyway, I think they should definitely adapt Geoff Johns' Flashpoint story as a future Flash solo movie. Not for the first movie obviously, but maybe the 3rd film of a Flash trilogy. Don't know about you guys but I think that would be freaking awesome. It worked out great in Flashpoint Paradox, so it could definitely work wonders too in the cinematic universe.

It would also be so cool to have (Flashpoint spoiler ahead)
